Before the year 2020 fell into absolute SHAMBLES, Demi Lovato dazzled two of the world's largest audiences back-to-back. Her January 26th performance at the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards was the singer's first time back on stage since her near-fatal overdose in 2018. It was just one week later, on February 2nd, that she delivered the National Anthem in the way that only Demi can do.
She's happy; she's single; she's thriving; she's BACK. But, when she does decide to date again, there's one place she can never ~~here we~~ go again!

In a nutshell, the ultra-exclusive dating service Raya is "a raging party happening just out of view, that all the people cooler, richer and better looking than you are blowing off steam together in some V.I.P. hideaway while you waste your life on Twitter and Instagram."
At least, that's how The New York Times previously described it, and it's actually spot on. If you watched the Demi-mentary "Simply Complicated" a few years back then you probably remember Lovato reminiscing on ex-love Wilmer Valderrama as she swiped through the celebri-filled app.

Valderrama, of 'That 70s Show' fame, became engaged to model Amanda Pacheco ahead of Lovato's stage appearances in January. The topic came up during Lovato's May 2020 cover story with Harper's Bazaar - see if you think Lovato's response sounds canned!
“I’m really happy for him and I wish him nothing but the best, but ~~Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time~~ we’re not in each other’s lives [and] haven’t spoken in a long time,”
"But," she added. "I think I needed that because I needed to learn to be okay on my own."
Private time kept swinging, but Demi's direction was set as a child...

2017's "Simply Complicated" heavily covered Lovato's trifecta of addictions: the first early onset was that of food, which she attributes for soon bringing about alcohol and drugs - but that wasn't all she was experimenting with.
"I matched with somebody on Raya just now," she told her stylist at the time. A cut-shot then showed Lovato speaking on a sofa.
"I am on the dating app with both guys and girls. I am open to human connection, so whether that's through a male or a female, it doesn't matter to me."

She was pretty sly with specifics to Harper's Bazaar earlier this week, but the "Heart Attack" singer finally fessed up as to why she no longer has access to Raya.
"I just deleted it out of respect to the person I was with, then we broke up and I went to get back on," she said - but it turned out that it was Demi's deletion that determined her fate!
"And I was like, ‘You know what?
It’s fine. I don’t need to be on this because I think I’m supposed to be alone right now.’”
Give your heart a break, Dems!!!
