Yesterday, on Easter, Diddy held “the world’s biggest dance-a-thon” on his Instagram Live in order to raise money for healthcare workers who are on the front line of the coronavirus pandemic. Different artists and celebrities were on the Live such as Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, LeBron James and his sons, and Lizzo.
Lizzo began twerking to Moneybagg Yo’s “1 2 3” song featuring Blac Youngsta and when the Bad Boy legend got back on camera, he shut it down quickly. He said he needed a song more “family friendly.”
Lizzo brushed this off by saying “Sorry, sorry, sorry! Let’s do something fun. Well, don’t play that kind of… play something I can bop to.” She then offered to play her smash hit single “Juice.”
Diddy’s actions didn’t fare well on social media though as he is accused of being fatphobic. He certainly didn’t have this same energy when Draya Michele went on his IG Live. Michele was seen twerking and even hyped her up as he said “You killed that! I think that was one of the top performances.”
Many users on Twitter say that Diddy was lying about the song preference that Lizzo used. The evidence used here was him hyping Michele as she played Juvenile’s “Back That Azz Up.”This is something that Lizzo sadly experiences on social media a lot in regards to her body. People always want to spread negativity instead of focusing on Lizzo’s talent and the fact that she is a great entertainer. What her body looks like is completely irrelevant to what she does in her career.
Diddy told Lizzo she couldn’t twerk on his IG live 😒😒😒
However Draya gets on there twerking to back that ass up. Man get TF

Diddy later went on his Instagram Story to address the backlash and emphasized that him stopping Lizzo twerking was 100% due to the song and not her twerking. In fact, he claimed that he encouraged the twerking.
“There’s one thing that I want to make clear. My queen, my sister Lizzo, when I stopped the music it was ’cause it had a lot of curses in there, not ’cause she was twerking. She’s one of the best twerkers in the world. Let’s keep that clear. It wasn’t about twerking.”
There was literally no difference between Draya Michelle & lizzo twerkin on the Diddy’s live 💀 both playing dirty versions of songs 🤣

“You’re allowed to twerk on Easter. There was a lot of cursing in the record. And I don’t need child services knocking on my door right now, you understand? So that’s why I stopped the record. Lizzo, we love you and everybody stop looking for the negative, look for the positive!”
Back That Azz Up definitely has expletive lyrics as well. This PSA announcement by Diddy isn’t helping him in this situation. He needs a public apology to Lizzo for what he did.
lol diddy really said he cut Lizzo’s twerk sesh short cause it was too much cursing in it like draya wasn’t literally dancing to back that ass up 💀💀💀
