Vanessa Bryant is doing her best to bring joy to the holiday by making the celebration last all weekend. Kobe Bryant's widow posted an adorable video of her daughters Bianka, 3, and 9-month-old Capri on Saturday, April 11, showing the duo getting into the Easter spirit. At the beginning of the clip, Bianka is seen rocking her pink sweats with white hearts and doing her best to break a giant Easter egg decorated with flowers while adorably shielding her eyes with a pair of glasses.
Vanessa is heard in the background telling the toddler, “I’ll help you" before gently cracking the egg while her youngest daughter looks on with curiosity. “Oh look, there are treats inside — let’s see what’s in there,” the mom of four teased the 3-year-old while Capri laughed on. “Is that funny Koko Bean? Is that so cute?”
Vanessa then reached inside the oversized egg and revealed the chocolate hiding inside. “Look — there’s chocolate,” she said as Bianka is heard sweetly asking, “Can I eat it?” The former NBA player's wife affectionally replied, “Yeah," before warning, "baby bites.”
Panning the camera to her baby, Capri turned her wonder into a huge smile, melting everyone's hearts who came across the video. "Easter Treats!??Bianka & Capri ?," Vanessa captioned the cute Easter video, which did not feature her oldest daughter, 17-year-old Natalia. She also thanked florist to the stars Jeff Leatham for gifting the egg to her family.
Tomorrow marks the first Easter that Vanessa Bryant and her girls will share without Kobe and Gianna, better known as Gigi. The duo passed away on January 26 when the helicopter they were riding in crashed and burst into flames. There were seven others involved in the crash and no survivors.
A source recently opened up about how grateful Vanessa is for the time she's been able to spend with three of her children after her daughter and husband's surprising death. She's “so grateful to have her kids and family around,” the insider told PEOPLE, adding that Vanessa, Natalia, Bianka, and Capri continue to “stay at home like everyone else” during this trying time. She recently gushed over her late husband's newest accomplishments. Kobe Bryant became a New York Times Best Selling author for his "The Wizenard Series" and being posthumously inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
