A Look Inside Dylan Sprouse & Barbara Palvin’s Relationship

Both Sprouse twins have made headlines for their relationships.

Cole has been in a long-term relationship with his 'Riverdale' co-star, Lili Reinhart. And Dylan has been dating supermodel Barbara Palvin since 2018.

Palvin and Sprouse have been together for almost two years and their relationship seems to have only grown over the years. Currently, they’re spending their quarantine together in their New York apartment.

But how did the Disney star meet Palvin and when exactly did their relationship start? Keep reading to find out.

The pair started dating in June 2018, after Sprouse slid into Palvin’s DM’s. Sprouse's message read something like, ‘Hey, I don’t know if you’re in New York for very long, but we should hang out if you want to. Here’s my number.’

But apparently, Palvin didn’t message him for six months. And when she did, Sprouse was in China filming a movie. Palvin was initially supposed to go to China for a job, but it got canceled. The model flew there any way to spend time with Sprouse.

At first, Palvin was hesitant about dating the actor.

‘I was kind of scared. I was single for so long before we started dating,’ she admitted. Palvin couldn’t help but wonder, ‘Are we going to get paparazzi'ed all the time? Should I be worried? Do I have to dress nice from now on? Get ready every morning?’

And while Sprouse understood her hesitancy, he’s been in the public eye for a while and is used to the attention.

'My thing is that that’s just going to happen. That’s a side effect of what’s going to happen but it’s also easily avoidable,' he explained.

In August 2018, Palvin made things official by sharing a birthday tribute to Dylan with the caption:

‘Even though it’s your birthday I feel I just got the biggest present of all. Happy birthday, Boss Baby.’

That same month, Dylan went to Hungary and met Palvin’s parents. In September, Palvin and Sprouse made several public appearances during New York fashion week.

For Halloween, the pair attended Heidi Klum's Halloween party together and went as Gaara from 'Naruto' and Future Trunks from 'Dragon Ball Z.'

When talking about their costume choices, Palvin said, ‘In high school, I had a friend who would watch 'Naruto' with me, but that faded away. When [Dylan] came into my life, I was like, I'm home, baby.’

Sprouse and Palvin took things to the next level in January 2019 and moved in together. Since then, the couple has celebrated their first anniversary and even did a joint interview with W Magazine.

A few weeks ago Palvin posted a photo of her and Sprouse with the adorable caption: ‘Love is passion, obsession, someone you can’t live without.’

And according to Palvin, the reason their relationship works is because ‘we trust each other and the fact I can be transparent with him and he loves me for who I truly am empowers me to be myself, to go out there and not worry about what anyone else thinks because I am great the way I am! He thinks the same thing, too. I feel like I am learning every day from him.’
