“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Sheree Whitfield’s mother was located in Ohio after being missing from her family in Georgia for two weeks.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting new details on the investigation that lead to 77-year-old Thelma Ferguson being found. The outlet reports Sheree’s mother was reunited with her family members after police were able to locate her in Ohio.
The original investigation was launched by Sandy Springs Police in Georgia, where Sheree and Thelma both live. They had been searching for over a week without luck.
As The Blast first reported, Thelma was finally located Friday evening after being MIA for two weeks. Sheree shared the good news on social media and thanked fans for their prayers. She wrote, “Thank you for all the prayers, they WORKED! My Mom has been found safe & healthy. She is with family now. I couldn’t have gotten through this without your support! God is GOOD!” Sheree did not provide further details on how her mother was located.”
One friend commented, “Look at God!! Amen!!! Love you ❤️”
77-year-old Thelma had been missing since March 23. Sheree didn’t let the public know until over a week after she was gone. The reality star claimed the reason she waited was due to her mom’s history of taking vacations without informing people.
She wrote, “I truly appreciate the outpouring of love, support & prayers for my mother’s safe return home. I know this no doubt will move mountains & bring her home. My family & I are humbly thankful for each & every post, repost, notification, text & phone call. Most important, I can’t say this enough, I thank you for continued prayers. We are continuing to keep the faith & staying positive at this time.” The former “RHOA” star added, “Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! ??❤️
