Mariah Carey made it clear that her relationship with Bryan Tanaka is still going strong, despite suspicions they may have broken up. The "Always Be My Baby" singer wished her dancing man a happy birthday with a sweet message on social media. Posting an intimate snap showing her hugging onto Tanaka, MiMi proved they are very much a couple on Saturday, April 11. The duo began dating in late 2016 after Mariah ended her engagement to Australian billionaire James Packer in October of that year.
Mariah and the professional dancer's relationship has been on-and-off over the past couple of years, according to Oprah Magazine. Fans thought they may have broken up recently since they have not been spotted together lately. The last time the couple posted about each other on social media was three weeks ago when Tanaka appeared in a Tik Tok video with the Grammy winner. Posting a cute photo with her man of nearly four years, Mariah looked as beautiful as ever in a tight tan dress with a high neck. The "We Belong Together" singer left her long hair down and went full glam with a gorgeous beat face.
Tanaka kept it casual, sporting a plain black tee showing off his chiseled chest with the v-cut neckline. While it's unclear if the photo of the duo was taken this weekend, Mariah insinuated she was going to see Tanaka when she told her fans that she was baking a "surprise birthday cake" earlier in the day. Mariah's boyfriend isn't the only one celebrating a birthday while stuck at home during this time. The "Honey" singer herself rang in her 50th birthday with her kids in isolation just weeks ago.

Her candles read "12," a nod to her Out Magazine interview from 2014 where she declared that "Darling, I'm eternally 12 years old."
