Selena Gomez just dropped three new songs off the deluxe edition of her album, ‘Rare.’ And fans are convinced one of the songs is about her relationship with The Weeknd.
‘Souvenir’ seems to be about the two love birds before they broke up in October 2017.
The lyrics begin:
New York back in August, tenth-floor balcony/ Smoke is floating over Jane and Greenwich street/ Goosebumps from your wild eyes when they're watching me/ Shivers dance down my spine, head down to my feet.
During their romance, the pair reportedly moved into an apartment together in Greenwich Village.

The lyrics also reference Sunset Tower where the pair were spotted in July 2017 looking very much like a couple.
Sunset Tower lobby, waiting there for me/In the elevator, fumble for your key/Kissed in every corner, Presidential Suite/Opened that Bordeaux from 1993.
And while their romance lasted less than a year, Gomez apparently had “chills.”
You're giving me chills at a hundred degrees/It's better than pills how you put me to sleep/Calling your name, the only language I can speak/Taking my breath, a souvenir that you can keep.

In January 2017, Gomez and The Weeknd were first spotted making out. Their appearance came two months after The Weeknd and Bella Hadid called it quits (again).
A month later, Gomez reportedly paid $30,000 to rent out Dave & Busters for The Weeknd’s birthday.
Between March and April, the ‘Wolves’ singer followed the musician while he was on tour.
In April, Gomez shared a picture with her new boyfriend at Coachella.
The next month, the two made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala where Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend was heard saying, ‘I love you’ to The Weeknd.

While speaking to Ryan Seacrest, Gomez explained why her and The Weeknd went public with their relationship.
‘It's really hard when I would want to spend so much time hiding things. It's too much pressure, and I think everyone gets over everything eventually. I just want to be happy. If that's me just being myself, then I don't really care,’ she explained in June.
Gomez continued to open up about their romance. And in September, multiple reports claimed they moved in together.
However, in October the couple officially broke up.

According to an insider at People, the two had been ‘going back and forth for a few months about their relationship.’
‘It’s over for now, but they’re still in touch,’ the source continued. ‘It’s been hard for them to come to the realization that this is the direction things were heading, but it’s been hard for months.’
That same month, Bieber was spotted leaving Gomez’s home. Shortly after, The Weeknd was seen leaving Hadid’s New York apartment.
Although, at the time, neither Gomez or The Weeknd confirmed they were back with their ex’s.
