Singer Adele is looking to add a different kind of achievement to her already impressive list. Last month, the Grammy and Oscar winner included an Emmy to her awards after being acknowledged for her "Adele's TV special One Night Only."
Adele is set to go on her long-awaited residency in November this year and carry on the list of shows till late March 2023. She previously faced much backlash after canceling the January scheduled event with only a few hours notice.

Adele Wants To Get A College Degree
Adele recently admitted that she wanted to go a step further academically. According to a post by The Sun, the artist said she would pursue an English Literature degree after concluding her much anticipated Las Vegas residency.
She joined a fan Q&A session in Los Angeles and revealed that while she wants to earn a college degree, she had no intention of physically attending college. "After Vegas, I really want to get a degree in English Literature," the "Hello" singer said. "If I hadn't made it in my singing, I think I would definitely be a teacher. I think I'd be an English Lit teacher."
Adele continued, "I definitely feel like I use my passion of English Lit in what I do. But even though it's not like I'd go on to get a job from my degree, I wish I had gone to university; I wish I'd had that experience."
"I won't go to a university, I'll do it online and with a tutor, but that's my plan for 2025. It's just to get the qualifications."
Her Residency Will Start On November 18
Adele previously canceled the start of her anticipated residency just hours before it kicked off, leaving fans who had purchased the tickets and made the journey stranded. After facing intense online backlash, the artist took to Instagram to release an emotional apology to her thousands of fans.
Adele announced the new dates in July, revealing her postponed residency will officially kick off on November 18. Besides the new dates, eight new shows were also added to the artist's rescheduled list of 24 performances, making it 32 in total.
The artist's residency will be on until March 25, 2023, and will have a specific amount of tickets up for grabs for fans who want to attend the event. Adele also revealed that those who paid for tickets for the first canceled show would be given priority. This also includes registered or waitlisted fans.
Adele Postponed Her Shows
The performances were initially supposed to be held on January 21 and continue till mid-April; however, the "Easy On Me" artist canceled the shows at the last minute due to COVID-19 delays. The announcement earned no small ire from her fans, particularly due to how late it was made.
At the time, she said, "Hi, listen, I'm so sorry, but my show ain't ready. We tried absolutely everything that we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we've been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID. Half my crew, half my team are down with COVID — they still are."
Adele continued, "It's been impossible to finish the show — and I can't give you what I have right now. I'm tired. I'm tired. I'm sorry it's so last minute, we've been awake for over 30 hours now trying to figure it out, and we've run out of time."

Adele released the music video for her third music single for "30," "I Drink Wine." The video saw the artist floating down a river clad in a gold sequinned dress similar to what she wore to the Brit Awards, which was held in February. According to her, it represented how her friends gave her alcohol while she tried to recover from her 2019 divorce from her ex-husband Simon Konecki.
"They'd come and drink my sorrows away with me. It got to the point where I was like, 'I can't drink anymore, I'm not making any f*cking progress, I'm just drunk all the f*cking time," Adele explained. "It was medication when I was feeling like that, sadly."
The singer is currently in a relationship with Rich Paul, a known sports agent. Despite rumors surrounding a secret wedding, Adele recently referred to him as her "boyfriend" in the Los Angeles Q&A.
