Tom Hiddleston And Fiancée Zawe Ashton Reportedly Welcome Baby Number One

"Loki" actor Tom Hiddleston and his fiancée Zawe Ashton have given birth to their first child together. The couple's romance blossomed after they appeared in the 2019 play "Betrayal" and took things up a notch by getting engaged earlier in the year.

In June, Ashton flaunted her baby bulge at the premiere of "Mr. Malcolm's List," which she attended with her co-stars.

According to reports, Hiddleston and his fiancée Ashton have welcomed their first baby together.

News of the baby's arrival comes after the pair made headlines in June when Ashton was sported with a baby bump at the premiere of her movie, "Mr. Malcolm's List."

Though Hiddleston was absent on that day, Ashton graced the event in a chic outfit alongside the film's director, Emma Holly Jones, and other cast members, including Freida Pinto, Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, Theo James and Sianad Gregory.

Following the big red-carpet reveal, Hiddleston and Ashton are delighted to be new parents, as reported by a source close to the couple.

"Tom and Zawe are loving being new parents and are filled with joy," an insider informed Us Weekly.

The couple is now having to deal with the typical challenges of raising a child and adapting to being parents for the first time.

The source added, "They have been having the struggles of new parents and aren't sleeping much but are thrilled."

The pair first met on the set of the West End's production of Harold Pinter's play "Betrayal" in 2019. Following their work on the production, rumors that they were in a relationship made headlines, which the two did not confirm at the time.

The rumors gained more traction when they both appeared in the Broadway production of the play three months later. However, it was at the 74th Tony Awards in September 2021, where Hiddleston was up for Best Leading Actor for his work in the drama, that the couple made their formal red-carpet debut. The actress attended the ceremony to offer her support for her boyfriend.

Before getting engaged, the pair kept the details of their relationship out of the media eye, seemingly due to the public split between the actor and then-girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Sources reported that the pair's connection grew stronger over time, leading to Hiddleston's decision to propose to Ashton. While the exact date of the engagement is still unknown, fans got acquainted with the news during the BAFTAs in March when the actress was spotted donning a very sizable diamond ring.
