Dwayne Johnson's first daughter Simone, born from his marriage to IFBB professional bodybuilder Danny Garcia, is making her debut at the World Wrestling Entertainment Inc.

In February 2020, the 21-year-old began training at the WWE Performance Center, ultimately leading her to sign a contract with the company two years later. Now, using the professional name Ava Raine, she officially stepped into the ring in style, revealed as the fourth and newest member of a prominent wrestling group.

Simone made her momentous WWE unveiling on the night of Tuesday, October 25, on WWE NXT, which was broadcasted live for fans worldwide to be in the loop. The show is dedicated to the next generation of WWE champs, including the upcoming wrestler who was introduced as one of the members of The Schism stable.

During the unveiling, Simone stood in the background with a yellow smiley face mask, and a red hoodie as other wrestling members of the group were announced. Eventually, she was revealed, prompting the audience to cheer in surprise and glee as she pledged her loyalty to her team. The WWE star said:

"The love and acceptance the Schism has given me defies any preconceived notions of who I'm supposed to be. This family completes me."

As the first fourth-generation wrestler in the history of WWE, Simone follows her father, Dwayne, her grandfather, "Soul Man" Rocky Johnson, and her great grandfather, "The High Chief" Prince Peter Maivia.

Additionally, she will not be the first woman in the family involved in the sport, as her great-grandmother, Lia Maivia, was one of the first female wrestling promoters. The Rock's daughter began her career in 2020, but before making her debut, she suffered a knee injury causing her to undergo surgery.

And back in July, while announcing her wrestling name, she spoke out to those on social media questioning her loyalty to her wrestling ancestry, given her ring name. She expressed:

"I probably sound like a broken record & hopefully this is the last I'll mention this, but I don't understand why people being portrayed as separate individuals from their family name is such a heated topic."

Simone believed a name did not "discredit any prior accomplishments from any family." In another statement, she pointed out that she could build her career around her father, but people would still criticize her anyway. Even with critics hating on the budding WWE champ, her dad remains super proud of her for walking in his steps and blazing her "own path."

During the July premiere of the "DC League of Super Pets" screening, the former pro wrestler gushed about his daughter's career, showing he had no misgivings about her success. While believing his baby girl is "fiercely independent," he mentioned that it was vital for her to "make her own way, blaze her own trail, and blaze her own path." He added:

"She doesn't come to me looking for a lot which I respect that. And I'm here watching and supporting."

That would not be the first time he would express pride in his daughter as he once did so in 2020 when she was officially signed in as the youngest person to strike a deal with WWE. The accomplishment blew his mind as he felt honored she emulated his wrestling ways and genuinely wanted to build her path.

The 'Black Adam' Actor Announces Simone's Official Sign-in With WWE

In February 2020, The Blast reported the events of Simone's official sign-in, marking the commencement of her training at the WWE Performance Center, which Dwayne could not help but announce on social media.

He shared, "Dreams ain't just for dreamers. Congrats to my #1 born, Simone Johnson, on officially signing her wrestling contract with @wwe @wwenxt and on her way to becoming the first ever 4th generation WWE athlete."

The proud 50-year-old father then expressed his delight in Simone after telling her to carry the family name "proudly" and declaring that her road would always be hers to "create, earn, & own."

At the time, the trailblazer released a statement indicating that she found wrestling "really special" given that her family had "such a personal connection" to the sport. She further conveyed her appreciation for the opportunity not just to wrestle but also to carry on her kinsfolk's legacy.
