Tom Brooks and Darcey Silva have been on ’90 Day Fiancé' for two seasons now and last weekend's episode reached the breaking point in their relationship. Darcey previously went to England to try to build chemistry with Tom. Tom wanted to take things slow and when it seemed like he was going to propose, he gave her the key to his Nottingham house instead. This was a very confusing move to viewers considering the fact that she doesn't even live in England.

Darcey eventually found out that Tom was seeing another woman in his city after her friend showed the photo of the two together. Darcey then decided to meet Tom in New York City to confront him about this issue. They had coffee at a high rise cafe in the city and things got heated.
Darcey offered Tom to get things off his chest and he kept asking what she wanted to know. She eventually brought up the woman in the photo he was with. One reason he cited for moving on was Darcey being stuck on her ex-boyfriend, Jesse Meester.

“You were so preoccupied with other things," explained Tom. It was really hard for me to listen to the Jesse thing all the time. Your idea and notion of love is not me. You had it with him. But I love you in a different way. I love you like my sister.”
The sister comment shocked everyone but Tom clarified that he feels this way at the moment. When Darcey left, he disgustingly took a shot at her by asking if she put on weight.

On Tom's Instagram, he issued a fake apology and mentioned that Darcey shamed his body in the past. He then posted a second apology explaining how he made a mistake and what he did was inappropriate.
"I’m not perfect. I make mistakes. We all make mistakes, we all have said things that we wish we could take back, unfortunately we can’t. I acknowledge what I did was very inappropriate! I truly am sorry for what I said and take full responsibility for it. The edit is out of context but still if I hadn’t of said it couldn’t have been used.”

Tom is now sadly trying to blame editing by TLC for why that scene where he body shamed Darcey took place.
“The truth is they edited the hell out of the scene … it was one of the first things I said after the first 20 takes of her jacket falling of coming into the building to meet me … I was like come on get on with it …. followed by the scene you saw “have you put on weight”, it’s out of context and chopped to create drama I can only again apologize to her and anyone offended by the scene."
Tom's explanation here has nothing to do with why he said what he said. It's good that Darcey finally put her foot down and ended things with him. He barely showed real interest in trying to start something serious with her for two seasons now.
