The Blast exclusively reported on the actor’s autopsy being DEFERRED by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner.
The Los Angeles County Coroner released further details surrounding the actor’s death on Tuesday, October 25th, claiming the official ruling has been “deferred” and an additional investigation is needed.
The fact his cause of death was “deferred” is significant because if his death was due to injuries sustained in a straight car accident — it would not be deferred. The case would be closed, following his autopsy.
The late actor complained about shortness of breath in the days prior to his crash and had plans to see his doctor next week.
According to reports, Leslie had scheduled an appointment with his cardiologist before his unexpected death.
Sources close to the “Will & Grace” actor told the media that he was feeling unwell for three weeks and was scheduled to see his doctor within the next week to see if he was suffering from any underlying conditions.
