Hilaria and Alec Baldwin Share Touching Tribute To 'Uncle' Leslie Jordan

Mom-of-seven Hilaria Baldwin is taking a moment to honor her late friend, Leslie Jordan, who was beloved by so many in the industry.

On Monday, the 64-year-old actor reportedly suffered a medical emergency behind the wheel of his vehicle and crashed into the wall of a building.

Many fans and famous friends have taken to social media, including Hilaria and her husband, actor Alec Baldwin.

On Tuesday, Hilaria shared a short video on Instagram that featured her lying down beside her daughter, Ilaria, who was born on September 22. The newborn was just over a month old when she got to meet the “Will & Grace” star for the first and last time.

“Listening to uncle Leslie’s songs and thinking about him…realized, watching this, that I kiss my babies a lot?…but then I remembered, @thelesliejordan always told me: kiss those babies for me! (And I know you can hear his voice saying that as clearly as it is forever imprinted in my memory),” she wrote in the caption.

“Leslie, I am kissing them all the time for you ?. You were and will always be our light….so much positivity and kindness, support, and compassion. You were elegant and witty,” she continued. “A true friend and role model. We love you and will always be guided by your light ✨. Ilaria, he checked on you all the time…was so excited when you were born…what a lucky little girl you are to have had his love ?.”

Many fans recognized that he was a close friend of the family. “So sorry for you guys. Leslie was so supportive, and always writing the most beautiful comments on your posts,” one fan commented. “Sending love. He will always be with you,” another follower wrote. “Leslie, what a light in this world ?,” a third fan chimed in.

In a follow-up video on Instagram, Hilaria and the “30 Rock” actor dressed up in matching jackets with yellow bandanas. Hilaria wore knee-high cowboy boots while Alec kept up the theme with a cowboy hat.

“Leslie asked us to help celebrate his book and his album last year,” Hilaria explained. “He sent us these amazing jackets that we will treasure forever and bandanas. We came up with a ridiculous dance to do to his beautiful song.”

“Decided to put the bloopers (hope you are impressed at my attempt at sound effects?wait until half way to see us do it ‘right’…pretty equally ridiculous,” she continued. “But we sure laughed a lot, @thelesliejordan style…loving life and celebrating ?. Loved his reaction too, to this weirdness we conjured up✨ @alecbaldwininsta.”

Fans showered the post with red heart emojis, with one fan calling it “completely adorable.” Another follower said that they were still “in disbelief” over the “Call Me Kat” star’s passing, adding, “During the past few years especially lockdown he was such a bright light helping so many of us laugh and feel a bit lighter watching his videos. So full of life and love.”

In his own Instagram post, the “Beetlejuice” actor shared an image of the late comedian as he shared his own touching tribute.

“My wife and I had dinner with this gentleman just this Summer in East Hampton with Mike,” he wrote in the caption. “You won’t find someone more open-hearted and funny than Leslie. In a time of limitless cruelty dressed as comedy, here was a man of wit and style, and warmth. I envy all who worked with him. I bet it was a ball… Rest In Peace, dear, sweet Leslie Jordan.”

Hilaria Baldwin commented on the post with two broken heart emojis. “LOVED seeing his encouraging messages on all your posts ? what a friend he must have been xx,” one fan commented. “my sincere condolences on the loss of your friend.
