Gabby's Last Known Sighting Caught On Surveillance Camera
Earlier this week, we reported on the last known sighting of Gabby and Laundrie before her senseless murder.
Security camera footage from a Whole Foods in Wyoming shows Gabby and Laundrie parking their conversion van, walking into the store, shopping and then leaving the market.
The footage obtained by Fox News is from August 27, 2021, which is the date Petito’s parents believe Laundrie strangled their daughter to death.
The video footage is very telling of the tension between the couple.
While walking into Whole Foods, Petito had her arms tightly wrapped across her chest and she looked down at the ground.
Laundrie kept his hands in his short pockets.
Surveillance footage inside the store did not have sound, but showed Petito and Laundrie through the aisles for about 15 minutes before getting back into their conversion van.
Interestingly enough, they sat in the van for about 20 minutes before making their departure onto Highway 89.
This is the last known footage which shows Petito alive.
The 22-year-old’s body was found about 30 miles north of the Whole Foods market roughly three weeks later.
As previously mentioned, Petito’s cause of death was homicide by strangulation. Her remains were discovered on September 19, 2021 and identified on September 21, 2021. A coroner said he believed she had been deceased for about three to four weeks
Laundrie admitted to killing his fiancée in a series of notebook entries.
On Wednesday, October 20, 2021, NBC New York reported “items belonging to Brian Laundrie were found by his own parents on a trail he frequented at the Florida environmental park center to the national manhunt, the family's attorney confirmed.”
The FBI revealed the disturbing evidence found in his notebook on January 21.
