Vanessa Hudgens had millennial hearts racing when she paid a visit to East High.
In the event you’re not familiar with East High, it is the high school where the Disney Channel original movie “High School Musical” was filmed.
The high school is located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Vanessa Hudgens & Zac Efron Both Visited 'HSM' East High This Summer
This is where fans learned about getting their “head in the game” and “breaking free.”
“High School Musical” also introduced millennials to heartthrob Zac Efron, Corbin Bleu, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman and Lucas Grabeel.
Following the release of ‘HSM,’ Efron and Hudgens began dating and became the mid-2000s “teen sweethearts.”
This past summer, Hudgens was spotted posing in front of the school, and not long after Efron shared photos of himself visiting East High.
Reunion rumors began flying and while Efron has stayed quiet about his visit to East High, Hudgens is finally speaking out about her visit.
On June 26, Hudgens shared a video of herself in front of East High along to the song, “Breaking Free.”

She captioned the video, “Do you remember in kindergarten how you'd meet a kid and know nothing about them, then 10 seconds later you're playing like you're best friends because you didn't have to be anything but yourself?”
It got over 3.4 million likes.
Here’s the reason WHY she stopped by the high school where her acting dreams became a reality.
"My boyfriend was playing in Salt Lake, he's a baseball player," Hudgens told Entertainment Weekly in a feature published Oct. 21. "So he was at the field and I had rented a car and I was like, 'I want to go check it out and take some pictures for old time's sake.'"
The following month, Efron posed with his fist in the air in front of the school.

So, what does this mean for a reunion?!?
Well, The Blast previously reported on the showrunner of ‘HSM’ admitting they’re actively working on a reunion.
Disney Channel’s “High School Musical” (2006) almost instantly became a hit film, even having gone on to release two sequels — “High School Musical 2” (2007) and “High School Musical 3” (2008).
The cast has not been together on-screen since the third film, “High School Musical 3,” which debuted.
But with original cast member Bleu returning to the franchise in the third season of the Disney+ original series, “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,” the show runner feels a reunion with all members is possible.
A Reunion With All OG Actors Is Possible
“High School Musical” show runner Tim Federle recently spoke to TVLine on Bleu’s return to the franchise. “Corbin had such a good time this season, he said, ‘If you ever want me to come back, just know this has been so much fun,'” Federle explained.
The showrunner went on to explain how Bleu’s return had him thinking about bringing back the rest of the original cast — Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman, and Lucus Grabiel, back into the story. “So that sort of inspired me to think, ‘What if our kids went back to school and had to be extras in a movie?’ Our show is so absurdly meta, it’s just going to turn into Inception one day. We’re really excited,” he said.
