Pregnant Heather Rae Young Shares Update On Dealing With 'Severe Sciatica'

There seems to be a lot more going on with Heather Rae Young's pregnancy, and things look a bit discomforting for the expectant mother.

While updating her fans about her pregnancy progress in an Instagram video, she elaborated on dealing with "severe sciatica," which appears to have become agonizing after over two weeks of endurance.

The 35-year-old, who shared "some Monday updates" with her numerous followers, started by telling them she was about to try out a "bunch of clothes." She added that the week would be busy with business and office-related affairs, including a big shoot for "Selling Sunset."

Although finding clothes that fit her was getting harder, her stylists always came through. And as for her growing baby bump, she opened up about the problems with her sciatic nerve, saying:

"Update on baby: I am dealing with such severe sciatica. It’s worse than ever today. It’s been about two and a half weeks, and today, it’s just almost unbearable for me."

Heather, who had gotten a lot of tips from fans, revealed her plans to deal with the uncomfortable situation. She said, "I'm going to be trying a physical therapist and acupuncture next to see if anything gets me relieved. But it's so bad I can barely walk; I'm hobbling around." 

This will not be the first time the "Selling Sunset" star will speak up about coping with sciatica as she once did so on Instagram ahead of her first wedding anniversary with her sweetheart Tarek El Moussa.

The Blast noted that she also changed her surname permanently, taking on her husband's on all her social media profiles. Alongside a cute picture of the couple dressed casually in neutral-colored outfits, Heather detailed what she had been up to, adding a "little pregnancy update" for the gram.

Leaning slightly on Tarek in the snap, she rocked black dungarees with a white sleeveless vest while pairing her outfit with a chic Dior saddle bag. The blonde-haired beauty was also accessorized with dainty jewelry, including gold earrings, a silver-and-gold watch, and her engagement and wedding ring proudly on display as she held onto her bag.

On the other hand, Tarek sported a black round-neck tee and gray pants alongside a black wristwatch, matching bracelets, and a silver necklace. "Currently," Heather began in the caption, "balancing 10 flips, filming two shows, growing a human, and the list goes on but loving and cherishing every minute of it."

She then wrote about her pregnancy progress, revealing that her baby was in a position that affected her sciatic nerve. The post marked ten days since the discomfort started, but she hoped to get some relief soon.

"The crazy thing is," the pregnant celeb went on, "I sat on my mom's sciatic nerve to the point where she couldn't even stand up straight, so maybe it's a littleee bit of payback."

In conclusion, she directed fans to check out her name change which she noted was just in time for her first wedding anniversary. As expected, the update gained over a hundred thousand likes, with several supporters sharing helpful tips for her sciatic nerve issues like acupuncture.

"Severe sciatica" cannot stop Heather from glowing with pregnancy, as she certainly basks in every moment of being pregnant with her first child. She also has some plans on how she intends to approach motherhood.

Heather shared her thoughts on Instagram, declaring her willingness to be intentional. In addition to a detailed message about her motherhood approach, she uploaded two radiant pictures of herself rocking a coffee-colored suit comprising a waistcoat and partly zipped pants. 

The outfit gave fans a view of her glowing baby bump as the waistcoat was buttoned halfway while also teasing a glimpse of her cleavage. In the caption, the California-born expressed how much she enjoyed being pregnant despite being busy with work. 

She also mentioned her plans to approach motherhood "with meaningful intention instead of just going through the motions." Heather wanted to be the type of mother who works and has a great career but was also "present, involved, loving, and supporting," hoping to be one of her son's role models one day.
