The “Real Housewives” franchise never seems to run out of drama, and now executive producer Andy Cohen appears to have been dragged into the mix.
Cohen was recently accused of dismissing the “Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” star Garcelle Beauvais‘ feelings during a reunion. However, he has issued a public apology expressing remorse for his insensitive act.
Andy Cohen Apologizes For Not Being In Tune With Garcelle Beauvais’ Feelings

Social media users reportedly came for the American radio host for laughing when fellow “RHOBH” star Lisa Rinna admitted to discarding Beauvais’ memoir “Love Me as I Am” on Wednesday, October 19.
Apologizing on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, he said, “I need to really sincerely apologize not only for diverting the topic but for not returning – even worse – to the serious conversation that was at hand.”
Cohen further informed listeners that he deeply admired Beauvais and had had a “really good, productive conversation last Thursday” about dismissing her feelings. He added, trying to assure fans he acknowledged their criticism:
“I just wanted to say that because I’ve been logging in, and I get it.” He then confessed that he ‘should have been more in tune with her feelings.”
The Rinna and Beauvais drama has been an ongoing affair, and it may not have surprised fans when the “Days of Our Lives” star admitted during the reunion to throwing out her fellow housewife’s book in the trash. It was initially believed that co-star Erika Jayne tossed the memoir, given that she uploaded a video on her Instagram story in April of disposing of the book.

However, Cohen brought up the topic to Jayne, prompting Rinna to confess, saying, “I have to be honest. I’m the one that tossed Garcelle’s book in the trash.” She appeared to have done so because her daughter, Amelia Gray Hamlin’s eating disorder, was mentioned in the memoir’s first edition.
Meanwhile, the book’s second edition did not include any details of Amelia’s reported eating disorder. Rinna and Beauvais’ constant animosity may not be the only drama involving the “Melrose Place” actress, as several other reality stars have not been so taken with her.
Following the “RHOBH” reunion broadcast, one of its alums, Denise Richards, took to the gram to express her opinions. She wrote on her Instagram Story, “I watched #RHOBH last night. While I have empathy for Lisa Rinna losing her mom. What is her excuse all the other years on the show for being so cruel & so vindictive?”
The reality star, Kathy Hilton, also declared that she would never return to the show if Rinna and Erika Jayne remained in the franchise. In her words, “I had said that I would only be willing to come back if the cast changed.” She continued, “If it was completely the same, absolutely not. Because I feel they are two bullies that intimidate a lot of the other girls.”

Rinna reacted to Hilton’s comment using her Instagram Story on Friday, October 21. She proclaimed that she was a “firm believer” in the truth, always revealing itself, adding that Hilton should save herself the energy and be honest from the beginning.
Garcelle Beauvais & Lisa Rinna Joined Forces For Their Kids
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” stars may not always see eye to eye in certain situations, but they proved in August that they were all united when it comes to their kids. The Blast reported that Rinna and Beauvais implored the internet to stop bullying their children despite the animosity between the two mothers.
Beauvais and her 14-year-old son Jax who was once harassed by fellow star, Jayne, have been on the receiving end of social media attacks alongside several other “RHOBH” stars and their kids.
She shared a message in August revealing that she had “been in tears all night” as she was not okay with viewers dragging the kids online but wanted them to be left alone. Rinna reiterated the sentiment with a statement on her Instagram, indicating she was aware of the threats thrown at the kids of Beauvais and fellow housewife Porshia Richards.
Her children and Jayne’s were also victims, and she saw the acts as “disgusting and unacceptable.” She also declared, “enough is enough,” after noting that the youngsters were “off limits.”
