Nicki Minaj Throws Lavish Minion-Themed Party As Son, Papa Bear, Turns 2

Nicki Minaj celebrated her son’s second birthday with a whole Minion world. 

The American rapper welcomed her son with husband Kenneth Petty in 2020. Since then, the doting mother has shown how much she adores her little boy. 

Recently, she threw an extravagant party to mark his second birthday. 

The proud mother took to her Instagram to show off the lavish party she threw to mark her son’s birthday. The rapper shared a carousel of pictures that detailed her family having fun at the party.    

In one of the pictures she posted, the adorable family was all smiles as they huddled together for the shot. Minaj rocked a black jumpsuit and her signature pink weave while her husband wore a two-piece set. The birthday boy stole the spotlight, looking cute in a jacket and denim. 

Also included in the post was a sensational video where Papa bear danced to a song while his mom cheered him on in the background. 

In addition to the numerous pictures of her family, the “Super Bass” rapper posted a few snaps of the well-decorated confectioneries. A 4-tiered minion cake that had the words “Papa Bear 2” written boldly on it and a character from “Despicable Me” was on display.

Alongside the snaps, the 39- year old mother penned a beautiful tribute for her little boy. She wrote, “On 9/30/22 you turned 2 ✨#PapaBear, your Dad $ I love you so much. You make us so happy. You’re perfect. Thank you for giving mama new meaning to life. God cover you. Always. ”

Tons of fans gushed over Papa Bear’s cuteness while wishing him a happy birthday. “He’s so gorgeous; his smile is everything ??,” one fan raved.

The “High School” rapper also gave her fans an insight into the minion world created just for the little boy’s birthday. The clip she posted on Instagram captured the variety of decorations and amusement. 

Minion-shaped balloons were spotted floating above the pool, and a bouncy house was at the corner of the house alongside a sea of yellow balloons and dining tables. 

In the caption, the chart-topping artist thanked the event planner for organizing the beautiful party. She further listed all the treats available at the party, such as an “ice cream machine, cotton candy machine, smoothie machine, bouncy house, etc."

This minion-themed birthday party came a few months after the Queen of Rap discussed with her fans a hilarious encounter her son had with a driver. 

The conversation started on Twitter, where the rap star discussed the encounter. She explained that on their way back from an outing, her 2- year-old turned in his car seat and “softly poked” the driver and then acted like he didn’t just do something naughty.

Shocked by this act, Minaj noted, “My face said ?.” A fan asked about the driver’s reaction to the act, and the Queen Of Barbz replied writing, “I started screaming PAPA NO!!!! His dad was like, POP!!! The driver just smiled.”

Minaj further revealed to her fans what prompted that act from her toddler. She explained, “Zoo said it’s cuz the man looked like the man in Despicable Me & a kid did that in the movie ?.“

This tweet gathered attention from her fans and even the attention of the official page of the movie “Minions.”

When the artist is not flaunting her cute toddler or promoting her music, she is protecting her family from negative talks. 

Last month, The Blast reported that the rapper spent time calling out “Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” star Garcelle Beauvais for reportedly endangering her family. 

Jennifer Hough, who previously accused the rapper’s husband of rape, for which Petty served time, appeared on “The Real” in 2021. 

The Young Money rapper was enraged about this and claimed that Beauvais and her co-host had Hough on the show just because of ratings, not caring about how it would reflect on her family, especially her son. 

She went hard on Beauvais, saying, BeauvaisB-tch, if you can’t feel to stand the motherf*****g heat get out of the f-ck out the kitchen, b-tch! Do you care about my motherf*****g son, b-tch?! Did you care about my motherf*****g son, hoe?!”

The rapper then called out for the cancellation of the show.
