A live taping of "The View" recently spiraled out of control when climate protesters hijacked the studio to shout down controversial senator Ted Cruz during his interview. The activists spewed profanity at Cruz until the taping cut for a commercial break, and security escorted them out of the building.
Cruz continued with the interview after the show returned from a commercial break and had a heated debate with co-host Whoopi Goldberg on the January 6th U.S Capitol riots. Their argument got so heated that another co-host, Ana Navarro, had to ask Cruz to lower his voice.
The Senator also recently got booed while at a baseball game to support his favorite team, the Houston Astros, against the New York Yankees. Cruz later addressed the incident and said he holds no grudges against the Yankees fans who booed him at the game.

Climate Protesters Hijack 'The View' Taping To Heckle Senator Ted Cruz
Climate protesters recently interrupted a live taping of "The View" on Monday morning to protest over an interview with controversial U.S senator Ted Cruz. The show's co-hosts were already talking with Cruz about the upcoming elections when several women seated in the audience started chanting, "Cover climate now!"
Cruz ignored the chants and kept talking to the co-hosts until the hecklers became too loud. Goldberg then responded to the them, saying, "Ladies, ladies! Excuse us! Let us do our jobs. We hear what you have to say, but you gotta go! You gotta go; you gotta let us do our job." Not relenting, One activist yelled, "F*ck you, Ted Cruz!"
After Goldberg's statements, the show cut to a commercial break. A spokesperson for ABC later released a statement to The Post, saying, "Three members of the audience interrupted 'The View' today during Sen. Ted Cruz's appearance protesting about climate. After "The View" returned from its commercial break, co-host Navarro apologized to Cruz as they continued the interview. She said, "I've been very vocal and critical of you, but I'm sorry that this has happened in our house." The Texas Senator then had a heated debate with Goldberg over the infamous January 6th, 2021, U.S Capitol riots.
Cruz stated that the Democrats have repeatedly branded elections as "illegitimate" and "stolen," and Goldberg responded, "We may not like when Republicans win, but we don't go and we don't storm [government buildings]. In response, the Senator said, "Did I miss an entire year of Antifa riots where cities across were burning?" The argument got so heated that Navarro had to ask Cruz to check the volume of his voice.
