It would make complete sense between having to inevitably relive certain life events from the last year, courtesy of "The Kardashians'' second season, and enduring the recent headlines concerning her ex-husband, Kanye West, Kardashian would need a long, relaxing night spent with a friend!

Kardashian's date book was certainly filled last night. The 42-year-old reality star and activist was spotted hanging out with a famous figure, and the duo spent hours together.

The paps captured Kardashian and her well-known famous friend enjoying dinner together, including a shot of the pals seemingly having a deep discussion.

Kardashian's mysterious Sunday dinner with her celebrity friend could have been a birthday dinner; her 42nd birthday was on Friday, October 21st.

Even if their dinner was just a regular old get-together to usher in the upcoming week, Kardashian's birthday had not gone unnoticed by notable figures in her life!

Several of her family members, including her mother, posted touching social media tributes for Kardashian with well wishes for her upcoming year.

The Blast covered Kris Jenner's first birthday tribute to her daughter, as well as Khloé Kardashian's wishes for her older sister!

Jenner, 66, posted two different Instagram tributes, the first post being a vintage home video clip that was accompanied by a long post.

The caption of her first post read, "Happy birthday to my beautiful Kimberly!!! You are still my little girl and at the same time you are the strongest woman I know. You handle everything that you go through with such incredible grace. You are such an amazing example of strength and calm through anything. You are an amazing mommy, daughter, granddaughter, auntie, sister, cousin, and friend. You love so hard, you are so kind, loyal, supportive, smart, funny, creative, resilient, respectful of everyone and truly the most beautiful woman inside and out! You live life to the fullest and you make sure every single person you love in your life is ok and is taken care of. Thank you for bringing me so much joy and happiness and for loving me the way you do. I hope you have the most magical birthday and an incredible year. I love you more than you will ever know."

Kardashian, 38, described her sister as being "brave" and "remarkably resilient" in the beginning of her birthday tribute.

She also echoed Jenner's action of highlighting Kim's kind and loving personality traits and assured her older sister of her unwavering loyalty!

"The busier you become, the more you give to the ones you love," the Good American co-founder wrote in her tribute. "You give your absolute all in every area of your life..." she continued.

Kardashian may have recently celebrated her birthday with plenty of love from her family, but she is also inevitably dealing with the fallout from her ex-husband's recent anti-Semitic tirade.

West was later asked by Piers Morgan if he had any regrets regarding his comments. He does not. (via The Blast)

Kardashian has since spoken out against her ex-husband's actions.

She is taking time to savor some moments for herself in the midst of chaos. According to TMZ, she spent Sunday night indulging in some girl time with the former First Daughter of the United States, Ivanka Trump!

The duo's dinner date was anything but a "dine and dash" situation. The duo spent three hours together, indulging in dinner and drinks at The Beverly Hills Hotel's Polo Lounge, and reportedly discussed West-related matters.

The publication revealed that an insider overheard Kardashian expressing her "concern" over West's aforementioned anti-Semitic comments. The insider also revealed Kardashian was "worried about her kids hearing what he's said-- especially given the fact they have Jewish cousins."

West has been a longtime vocal supporter of Trump's presidential father. Kardashian had also consulted the 45th United States president over matters related to prison reform; according to TMZ, Kardashian and President Trump met twice.
