Did Taylor Swift & Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel Once Date?

Quibi, a short-form video platform, launched on April 6th.

The new streaming app is targeted to audiences who like their content good and short. Basically, with Quibi you can watch television quickly whenever you want. The service already has a ton of content available with some well-known actors.

Liam Hemsworth stars in 'The Most Dangerous Game,' which is now available on Quibi. You can also watch Sophie Turner and Corey Hawkins in 'Survive.' Chrissy Teigen even has her own show called, 'Chrissy’s Court.'

There are many shows and short-form movies on Quibi right now with more to come, including 'Frat Boy Genius.' The 10-minute episode series is loosely based on the life of Snapchat co-founder Evan Spiegel.

'Frat Boy Genius' has been getting a lot of buzz recently with fans wondering if the series will discuss Spiegel’s rumored relationship with Taylor Swift.

Chances are, you forgot Spiegel was ever linked to Swift. A lot of people did. Probably because their "romance" was almost eight years ago!

The pair reportedly met in 2013 while attending the same Christmas party. ‘Taylor thought Evan was the right one after she met him,’ a source toldOk! Magazine.

Their relationship was low-key and the two rarely hung out in public.

‘Evan is highly successful in his own right, and Taylor trusted that he wouldn’t be just after her money. She also loved that Evan wasn’t in the public eye as much as some of the men in her previous relationships,’ the source added.

And while their relationship wasn’t well-publicized, the two were reportedly seen kissing on New Year’s Eve.

Sadly, they didn't last.

‘Taylor is a serial dater. She wants to find love so badly that she dates any well-off guy who gives her attention, and she falls for him immediately. The problem is, she becomes so smothering that she scares the guys away,' the source revealed.

According to reports, Spiegel was more focused on his Snapchat career than his relationship with Swift.

'In the end, Taylor just couldn’t deal with the fact that she wasn’t a priority in his life.'

Neither Swift or Spiegel have ever confirmed they were together. So, there’s a chance these rumors were just rumors.

Even still, fans will be watching 'Frat Boy Genius' closely to see if Swift comes up.

Currently, Spiegel is married to model Miranda Kerr. The couple has two children. Swift has been dating actor Joe Alwyn since at least 2017.

According to a source at Us Weekly, Swift and Alwyn 'have talked about their future and marriage. They don’t have a set deadline in place, but they’re very much in love.’
