Ex-'RHOC' Star Vicki Gunvalson Slams Brooks Ayers For Manipulating Her, Explains Filing A Lawsuit Against Him

Vicki Gunvalson participated in an interview on Instagram Live last week with Hollywood Life and during their chat, the ex-Real Housewives of Orange County star revealed that she was reminded about her relationship with ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers while interviewing Dirty Johns' Debra and Terra Newell on her podcast, Whoop It Up with Vicki earlier this month.

While recalling the interview, Gunvalson admitted that found there were a lot of similarities between her relationship with Ayers and the relationship Debra Newell had with her John Meehan.

As some may know, Meehan was ultimately killed by Debra's daughter, Terra, following years of abuse.

Although no one was killed in the relationship between Gunvalson and Ayers, Gunvalson said she saw similarities between herself and Debra because Debra was targeted by Meehan due to her success and wealth.

“It’s a common thing. These bad boys go out and search for successful women and figure out what they’re missing," Gunvalson explained.

Gunvalson and Ayers dated for five years and appeared together on The Real Housewives of Orange County.

According to Gunvalson, what she was missing in her life was love. So, after striking up a relationship with Ayers, Gunvalson found that her love tank was suddenly filled, just as she'd always hoped.

"What I was missing was my love tank was empty. And that guy knew what to do. He filled up my love tank and took me for a ride for five years. I lost five years of my life," Gunvalson explained of her relationship with Ayers.

Looking back on her time with Ayers, Gunvalson admitted that she shouldn't have been so naive to his manipulations.

"I should have been smarter but I kept falling deeper into that sink hole and I couldn’t get out. He was so good with his manipulations,” she shared.

Thing between Gunvalson and Ayers were allegedly so dire that Gunvalson's daughter, Briana Culberson, could have potentially become violent towards Ayers, just as Terra did with Meehan.

“Briana would have killed him [if I stayed]," Gunvalson alleged.

Following their breakup years ago, Gunvalson filed a lawsuit against Ayers and during her chat with Hollywood Life days ago, the former reality star explained why she did so.

”I filed a lawsuit against him about eight months ago for all the money he owes me. He’ll have his day in court. I have no desire to talk to him,” she shared.

Gunvalson quit her role on The Real Housewives of Orange County in January after the show became too "toxic."
