Kyle Richards Regrets Having Sisters Kim Richards And Kathy Hilton On 'RHOBH'

Reality star Kyle Richards revealed that she regrets having her sisters as co-stars in "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." The actress and her two sisters, Kim Richards and Kathy Hilton, were all part of the Bravo show's cast, albeit at different periods.
Kim starred with Kyle on "RHOBH" for the show's first five seasons and ended her tenure as a regular housewife in 2015. She made guest appearances, however, in seasons six to 10 of the show.
Hilton joined the Bravo show as a "friend" in the latest two seasons. Over the years, the three sisters have had their share of on-screen squabbles, the most recent involving Kyle, Hilton, and Lisa Rinna.

Kyle Richards Regrets Having Her Sisters On 'RHOBH'
While talking to Page Six on Friday, Kyle got candid on how she truly felt having her two sisters as cast members in "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Kim joined her on the Bravo show in its first season and stayed on till season five. Hilton, on the other hand, joined "RHOBH" seasons 11 and 12 as a "friend of the cast."
Since joining, Kyle and Hilton's relationship has visibly deteriorated, and the duo has had several televised spats. When asked by the news outlet whether she regrets having her sisters on the show, the reality star revealed that "of course" she did.
Kyle also pointed out that as a housewife on the Bravo show, her most difficult seasons were the two her sisters starred in. The actress said, "My most difficult reunions were [Seasons] 5 and 12. No coincidence there."
Filming The Reunion Was 'Emotionally Draining' For Kyle Richards
The "RHOBH" season 12 reunion special episode was split into three parts, and the first two aired in the previous weeks. This season saw a lot of drama stemming from Hilton, Rinna, Erika Jayne, and more; hence it's no surprise that the special episodes are brimming with it.
In her Page Six interview, Kyle revealed that she wasn't looking forward to watching and reliving the third part of the reunion episode. She said she dreaded it so much she would "rather watch 'The Exorcist' on repeat."
The reality star said, "It was really bad for me. It was very emotionally draining." Kyle explained that the day of filming was so "painful" to her that she had difficulty keeping it together.
"The emotions that I was feeling were coming from: 'I've already been down this road with my family before,'" she continued. Kyle's comment referred to the five seasons of "RHOBH" she spent with her sister, Kim.
Kathy Hilton Says She Wouldn't Return To 'RHOBH' With Lisa Rinna Still On It
On Friday, TMZ published an interview with Hilton where the reality star revealed that she had no intention of making an appearance on "RHOBH" season 13 if Rinna and Jayne returned to the cast. "I had said that I would only be willing to come back if the cast [changed]," she said.
"If it was completely the same, absolutely not. Because I feel they are two bullies that intimidate a lot of the other girls." Hilton further revealed that some housewives occasionally speak up against the duo. However, they were not being their most "authentic self" because they feared Rinna and Jayne.
Kyle was asked if she had any comments concerning her sister's statement; however, the reality star said she had no intention of saying anything about it. "I'm not even going to touch that one with a 10-foot pole," she said.
Kyle Richards Hopes For A Reconciliation
Kyle previously revealed that when she and Hilton had issues, their children and cousins always ran interference to ensure the duo reconciled. However, the actress claimed things were different this time around, and her children had tried to be respectful and keep out of it.
Despite their issues, Kyle said that her children loved their aunts. She also admitted her nieces and grandnieces were really important to her. The actress revealed that she tried to think about "the good times" she had spent with her sister.
Kyle noted that in the past two years, the duo had had a lot of fun and laughter in their relationship. According to the reality star, "family's family," and she is hopeful that they will resolve their differences and reconcile in the future.
