Beyoncé’s father, Matthew Knowles is being called out by a former member of a Destiny’s Child, a group he formed and managed. Farrah Franklin was a member of Destiny’s Child for a short period of time before they permanently became a trio.

Franklin, 38, joined the group in 1999 with Michelle Williams, 39, after original members LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett exited. Franklin’s tenure with the group was short-lived after she expressed the discontent among herself and the remaining original members, Beyoncé, 38, and Kelly Rowland, 39.

After appearing in Destiny’s Child’s videos for “Say My Name” and “Jumpin, Jumpin” in 1999, Franklin was booted from the group. Franklin said she had left the group after feeling that she was mistreated by Knowles while sick.

Both Beyoncé and Knowles claimed that she was banished from the group after missing too many performances. However, Franklin has denied the allegations and has spoken out several times about how she left, stating, “she was never kicked out of the group.”

In 2015, Franklin was interviewed by VladTV where she explained her time in the group. The R&B singer stated she spent six months in the famous group before she decided to exit due to stress and mistreatment from Knowles.

The 38-year-old stated, "Ultimately, it was management, he did get kind of loud... It's not a way you would want somebody treating your 18-year-old daughter, fresh out of the hospital from stomach flu and dehydration," she said.

She went on to say how no one other than former member Michelle Williams took the time to even comfort her.

Now, after 20 years since her exit, Franklin is speaking out about her unseemly encounter with Knowles-Carter’s father. According to Madame Noire, someone who worked behind the scenes of a 2015 show titled Last Chance: Girl Group, which was about former members of girl groups, allegedly leaked the clip of the series onto social media.

The clip shows Franklin in a confessional talking about a time where Knowles invited her to his room. She said Knowles had “propositioned” her and invited her to his hotel room to speak.

When asked if Knowles tried to have sex with her, Franklin hesitated then declined to answer directly. Instead she responded with stating, “I haven’t met too many people in my life who haven’t liked me.”

It is unclear as to if her resistance to answer was due to Knowles being married at the time, however, it doesn’t matter now. Tina and Matthew Knowles divorced in 2011 after 31 years of marriage. Headlines reported at the time Knowles had committed adultery which resulted in a child being born in 2009.

Despite her latest confession, Franklin has continued to pursue her music career and has even stated she would love to reconnect with her former group members if given the chance.
