Earlier in the week, Lady Gaga was set to appear on Jimmy Fallon's virtual version of 'The Late Show', however, her appearance was suddenly cut short. While engaging via FaceTime, Gaga claimed that she didn't have time to talk before hanging up on Fallon. Talk about awkward! Just before Gaga said, "I just can’t talk right now," and hanging up, viewers could hear multiple phones going off in the background of the iconic singers frame. While many were left to wonder what possibly could have happened, a source close to Gaga explained the bizarre blowoff.

The source told 'HollywoodLife', "Stefani (Lady Gaga) isn’t really stressing about the reaction her interview with Jimmy Fallon got because she is going to use it to her advantage when she goes on again."

They then explained that, "First she is going to laugh about it all and then talk about what she is going to do for those affected by Corona. She is looking to raise money and she will deliver all the details on how she is going to do that when she talks to Jimmy again and she actually thinks more people will be tuned in to see what she will do because so many people were interested in her non interview."

The insider also stated that Gaga feels that the jaw-dropping interview may even work to her advantage, adding, "It might get more eyeballs on this new interview. That is what she is hoping for to come out of everything."

A second source who claims to be close to Gaga told 'HollywoodLife' that the singer is currently loving her quarantine time with new boyfriend Michael Polansky.

"Stef has been busy but still taking time to have wonderful downtime with Michael. They are really getting to know each other more and this has been a really nice test to their relationship that they are embracing and learning from day by day," the source stated. "She seems pretty happy and chill right now."

They also said that, "It was an easy decision to self quarantine together because Gaga and Michael had already been inseparable before the stay at home order even began. Although they’ve only been dating for a few months, they obviously have such a strong connection."

While Gaga's relationship appears to be thriving amid the coronavirus quarantine, she recently endured some backlash over her father's request for public assistance in funding his restaurant's employees during the shutdown. Gaga reportedly had no idea of her father's plan to ask for help.

In a since deleted tweet, Joe Germanotta's wrote, "I’m doing the best I can but we had to close Joanne for the month. Our staff needs some help financial. Any help for our employees will be appreciated." Being that Gaga and Germanotta himself are both very well off, the message was not received well by fans. An source close to Gaga claimed that she had no idea of the GoFundMe page. The insider told Page Six, "She had no idea he was doing that and that idea would have been shot down before he even finished bringing it up - and the worst part is, it’s her birthday."
