The TV personality shared in a recent episode of her show that she walks around her house naked because she feels it is the "most liberating act" she can do. The mother of two shared that she only does this when her kids are away with their father.

On Thursday's episode of her eponymous show, the "50 First Dates" actress revealed that she was not a fan of clothing when alone at home. The award-winning tv personality hosted the show alongside guest Dennis Rodman and regular co-host Ross Matthews.

"If I get a moment alone in my apartment and my kids have gone to their dad's, and there's no one around, like, I'll lock all the doors, and I'll walk around naked," the "Charlie's Angels" star said, per Insider.

Regarding her act of going unclad in those moments of solitude, Barrymore explained how doing so feels like she had taken off some heavy shackles from her body.

She added, "It just feels like the most liberating act I can do." The topic came up during the "Drew's News" segment, where she, Mathews, and Rodman discussed "Law and Order: Organized Crime" actor Christopher Meloni's recent disclosure to People that he works out nude.

Before revealing that secret, Barrymore questioned Rodman whether he shared the same mindset. She said, per Decider, "Dennis, I have seen the trailer for The Surreal Life, which you are a cast member on this season, and you also seem quite comfortable sans clothing, like, why are you such a free bird?"

The TV personality inquiry referenced a scene from the trailer where Rodman was seen strutting around unclad. In response, the retired NBA star said: "I like being free. I like being an individual that's very open."

On the other hand, Matthews disclosed that he had no issues "with people being naked and wanting to be naked." However, he said he couldn't wrap his head around the whole process of working out naked.

Barrymore is renowned for her unabashed candor and upbeat outlook on life. Last month, she shared an even more intimate detail about her life on her show, revealing she could go for years without having sex.

The actress disclosed the tidbit while discussing with Matthews about Andrew Garfield's admission that he was celibate for half a year to prepare for his role as a priest in the 2016 film "Silence." Garfield had previously opened up about the detail when he appeared on the "WTF" podcast hosted by Marc Maron.

"What's wrong with me that six months doesn't seem like a very long time?" Barrymore joked to the audience, per Insider.

The actress then shared that she wasn't impressed by Garfield's confession before adding that she could go for years without sexual intercourse.

Drew Barrymore Is 'Not A Person Who Needs Sex'

This month, Barrymore then reiterated her stance, saying that she had no "need" for sex because she's learned that physical intimacy is not equal to love.

"I am just in a completely different place in my life, and maybe in the near future I will get into a relationship… but it simply hasn't been my priority," the tv personality wrote in a blog post, per Page Six. "So I'm not a person who needs sex and has to go out there and engage with people on that level."

She added. "I am someone who is deeply committed to fostering how young girls, my daughters, and myself, as a woman, are supposed to function in this world!"
