His mother, Erika Ruehlman, claims her son began talking about his past life at the age of two-years-old.

She told the news outlet that at two he had an obsessive fixation with safety in their suburban Cincinnati home.

“I specifically asked him, ‘Why did you name the ladybug Pam?’ He said I just think it’s a nice name,’” said Erika Ruehlman. “I didn`t think anything of it other than it was strange to me because we didn’t know any Pams.”

His fixation with the name Pam soon spread to everything in the house from his toys to drawings.

“He’d say when I was a girl I had black hair or he’d say I used [to] have earrings like that when I was a girl,” his mother said.

Erika finally asked her son, “Who is Pam?”

She was not expecting or ready for her little one’s answer.

“‘Well I was.’ I said, ‘what do you mean you were?’ He was like, ‘Well I used to be, but I died and I went up to heaven and I saw God and eventually God pushed me back down. When I woke up I was a baby and you named me Luke,'” Erika Ruehlman explained.

Erika and her husband are not religious and never discussed life and death with their toddler.

Luke’s grandmother Lisa Trump [Erika's mother] admitted something strange was going on.

Lisa remembered reading a book in the 1970s by the late Dr. Ian Stevenson who clinically studied past life claims.

“We started to realize perhaps we did have something there,” Lisa admitted.

Erika continued to explain, “So, I decided to go ahead and ask him further. ‘Do you remember how you died?’ He looked right at me and said, ‘Yea it was fire.’ And at that point he made like a motion like his hand he was jumping off a building.”

Luke said he lived in a tall building as Pamela in Chicago, IL.

“Are you sure it was Chicago?” asked Erika Ruehlman. “Yes, I remember it was Chicago, it was Chicago.”

“The child who has no clue where Chicago even is,” Erika’s mother added.

Erika took the information her son was giving to her and plugged it into the internet and to her shock and awe, she discovered the Paxton Hotel.

The Paxton Hotel is a residential building in a predominately African American neighborhood in Chicago.

“Luke what color was Pam’s skin,” asked Erika Ruehlman. “He looked up at me like duh – ‘black.’”

According to reports, in March 1993 a fire ravaged the Paxton Hotel and trapped most residents in the upper floors.

19 people died including a woman in her 30s named… Pamela Robinson.

Sadly, Pam jumped out of a window to her death.

“Pam had jumped out of a window to her death,” said Erika Ruehlman. “I was really weirded out by this point.”

Erika and her family began working with the Lifetime Network on t heir show, “Ghost Inside My Child.”

This is where things took a very eerie turn.

“I had found a picture of Pam, we had put it on a piece of paper with a lot of fake pictures. I didn’t think he’d pick the right one,” Luke’s mother said.

When the cameras began rolling, Luke said, “‘Well, I don't recognize anybody. But, I remember when this one was taken.’ He pointed to the correct one.”

Luke’s grandmother couldn’t believe what she was seeing.

“It took me a couple days to wrap my head around it. I couldn’t sleep. I thought about it constantly,” Lisa admitted.

Erika reached out to Pam’s daughter and revealed that her mom really liked Stevie Wonder.

Lo and behold, Luke is a massive fan of the singer and his music.

In another wild turn of events, just as Erika was accepting Pam and connecting with Pam’s memory, her little boy let her go.
