Drake is reflecting on life as a father in his recent Instagram post, which is also the first time he has publicly shared photos of his two-year-old son Adonis.

Drake has kept the young toddler out of the spotlight since his birth in October 2017, but given recent circumstances concerning the coronavirus pandemic, the “One Dance” hitmaker issued a heartfelt caption that most people could relate to.

He started his message by saying: 'What is most important for you right now is to connect to your own inner light. This will create the biggest opening of all.'

'Trust that you have all of the power within to make this happen, and in order to do that connect to the people and things that bring you a lot of joy.'

The first photo in his gallery of snaps sees the 33-year-old and his curly-haired son are sporting similar outfits in an all-black ensemble while Drake stares lovingly stares at the youngster.

With many parts of the world practicing self-isolation and staying in quarantine, the former “Degrassi” star notes that the current global crisis has prevented him from seeing some of his closest friends and family members - and it’s bothering him deeply.

'I love and miss my beautiful family and friends and I can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite. Until then please keep your lights on.'

And as people continue to try and make sense of the coronavirus and what damages it can cause on their finances, their well-being and their jobs, Drake wants his fans to remain positive because 'when the mind starts to move into overthinking and fear, shift your attention right away to something bright.'

When former adult star Sophie Brussaux gave birth to Adonis, it was no secret that Drake was refusing to cooperate and acknowledge his child.

In a since-deleted tweet, Sophie even described the “Hotline Bling” rapper as a lousy father, but after a DNA test proved that Drake was indeed the dad, he quickly got his act together and stepped up to his responsibilities.

In his 2018 song “Emotionless,” he went into detail about his decision not to entertain the world about his private life.

'I wasn't hiding my kid from the world/I was hiding the world from my kid. Breakin' news in my life I don't run to the blogs/ The only ones I wanna tell are the ones I can call.'

Both Drake and Sophie have come to an agreement that has allowed them to effectively co-parent their son together, but there’s no romance between them anymore - it’s strictly all about Adonis and his well-being at this point.

Drake is currently said to be self-isolating at his home in Canada.
