Kim Kardashian Dashes to Save Daughter from Falling in the Pool

Kim Kardashian didn't think twice when she saw her daughter venture outside and into near danger. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashian" star popped into the virtual classroom of Georgetown Prisons and Justice Initiative class Tuesday evening while the students were listening to a lecture via the Zoom video conferencing app.
The topic of the night was "Forgotten Humanity of Prisoners," and Kim K is somewhat of an expert as she has become an advocate for prison reform over the past few years and helped many prisoners find freedom.

Kim had previously worked with Georgetown while gathering information and footage for her upcoming Oxygen special, "Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project."
At the time, she also visited a DC Jail and met with the Prison Scholars Program, which helps prisoners earn degrees and hopefully land respected jobs after completing their time behind bars.
"I speak so highly of [the program] … it’s so crazy to me that there are not other jails that have this system in place,” Kim told students during the Tuesday night class.
She added, “… it makes no sense why it wouldn’t be everywhere.”

The students were obivously excited to see Kim K pop into their Zoom meeting, but the reality star needed to take a quick break during the lecture when her daughter ran outside and near an unattended swimming pool.
"My daughter just ran outside near the pool and I have to grab her ... one second," Kim exclaimed.
She turned and ran outside so quickly that her ponytail whipped behind her. It's unclear if the culprit was 6-year-old North West or 2-year-old Chicago West, but Kim looked extremely concerned about the situation.

It appears Kim saved the day, because she was able to resume the chat shortly after running to grab her child.
Kim also plugged her upcoming special, which airs April 5 on Oxygen.
“It kind of follows my journey of me feeling, I don’t want to say judgmental, but I want to say not really understanding and not really willing to take the time to understand other people’s perspectives," she told the Georgetown students.
Kim's TV special will highlight the work she's done with prisoners, and showcase the time she actually spent going inside the country's top correctional facilities.
