While Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio would make one hell of a gorgeous couple, the model's sister Bella Hadid is reportedly not on board.
In September, rumors surfaced that the "Titanic" actor had found his new young catch in the IMG signed model. While neither party has publicly denied or confirmed the romance rumors, they have been spotted hanging out multiple times.
With the possibility of their romance blossoming, a source is claiming that Gigi's younger sister Bella is not pleased about the choice of DiCaprio as a boyfriend.
Bella Hadid Thinks Leonardo DiCaprio Is 'Ill-suited' For Gigi Hadid
A source close to the Hadid family revealed to Mirror that Bella has her doubts about Gigi dating DiCaprio because she believes her older sister is too good for the known Hollywood playboy.
As you might know, the "Revenant" actor has a history of dating women who are significantly younger than him and dumping them when they reach 25. He has an array of A-list models as his ex, with the latest being Camila Morrone, who he broke up with in August, months after her 25th birthday.
While Gigi might have escaped the required age milestone by two years, Bella isn't convinced that DiCaprio has good intentions for her big sister. According to the insider: "Bella thinks that Gigi's too good for Leo, and the way he leapt to Gigi seemingly without a thought for his previous girlfriend gives Bella the shivers."
The "Bella Hadid's Guide to LA" star believes the three-time Golden Globe winner is "ill-suited" for Gigi and might bring her "hurt" and embarrassment if things don't work out. "Her [Bella's] worry is that Gigi could wind up hurt and embarrassed," the source says.
The insider mentions that instead, Bella wants her older sister to focus on her role of being a mother to her daughter rather than being involved with Hollywood's "biggest model chaser."
Mohamed Hadid 'Likes' 'The Wolf Of Wallstreet' Actor
Bella isn't the only family member that has shared their thoughts on Gigi and DiCaprio's blossoming romance. As The Blast previously reported, Gigi's father, Mohamed Hadid, opened up about how he feels about the relationship, and it was mainly positive.
The business tycoon recalled his first meeting with "The Great Gatsby" star, saying, "I met Mr. DiCaprio in St. Tropez four or five years ago, and he is a very nice man. I liked him."
As for the news of DiCaprio and his oldest daughter being in a relationship, Mohamed said, "They are friends - they have known each other for some time. I have not spoken to my daughter about Mr. DiCaprio. I don't think they are dating - I believe they are just good friends. But I really don't know."
The patriarch declared that he wouldn't comment on how he feels about his daughter's relationship as he has no say in the matter.
Gigi and DiCaprio were first spotted hanging out at the New York Fashion Week afterparty in New York. An anonymous witness claimed both stars were seated at the same table and got a bit cozy with one another.
"They are getting to know each other," a source told People Magazine of their relationship. "Leo is definitely pursuing Gigi. They've been seen hanging out with groups of people. It's only been a few weeks since the split. Since then, he's been hanging out with friends and family."
Rumors were further intensified when the 47-year-old actor was seen sitting and taking in Gigi as she walked the runway for Versace at Milan Fashion Week. Coincidentally, his ex, Morrone, was present in the VIP section at the fashion event.
"They are fully seeing each other. Gigi and Leo are the real deal. They’ve been hanging out a lot and are very into each other," an insider said after the second hangout.
