Kourtney Kardashian Repurposed Her Flowers From Recreated Proposal

Kourtney Kardashian sure knows how to give thoughtful gifts!

As the couple is popularly referred to, Kravis tied the knot earlier this year and recently celebrated their engagement anniversary by recreating the proposal scene. Kourtney and Travis Barker are known to be deeply affectionate towards each other, but this time, their affection went out to others in the sweetest of ways.

Fans know that the entrepreneur is a big believer in clean living and recycling, so it was no surprise that she used the roses from a special event in another meaningful way. The "Poosh" founder posted a picture of her stunning hallway with an extensive collection of roses bouquets arranged along the floor on her Instagram Story. The photo had a caption written across it that read:

"we donated a bunch of these beautiful flowers from our special night last night to the local children's hospital."

The mother-of-three then added that the reason she posted it was if anyone was unsure what to do with extra flowers from weddings, events, and special occasions. 

Some might wonder what the reality star referred to as the special night. The lovebirds recreated the famous beach proposal from a year ago at the same hotel. They also celebrated the event with a swim fully clothed in the sea at the Santa Barbara beach, where the 46-year-old got down on one knee and asked Kourtney to marry him.

As usual, the duo could not keep their hands off each other as they shared many steamy and intimate kisses on their sea adventure. Before dipping into the water, the drummer had surprised his wife when he recreated the red-rose beach display, complete with white sheets and pillows for them to lay on.

The model took a plunge with her clothes which consisted of a black top and jeans, and emerged soaking wet as the water slicked her short hair back. Barker only took off his shirt showing off his heavily-tattooed chest and torso as he kept only a pair of brown slacks.

It was clear that they were having a lot of fun as they were pictured holding onto each other's hands and laughing as they braved the waves. Following their fun, the pair dried off with blue-striped towels as they continued their intimate displays.   

Known for their deliberate public style of showing affection, it was to be expected when the couple took to social media to mark their first engagement anniversary with nothing less than a sexy picture. 

For their October engagement, the "Meet The Barkers" alum spent over fifty-four thousand dollars on a spectacular arrangement of red roses in the shape of a heart. The figurine was then framed with glass-covered candles. 

The socialite uploaded ten pictures from the romantic event on her Instagram, depicting each moment from when they arrived at the venue to when he got down on one knee.

The pair, dressed in their staple color — all black — with Kourtney in a bomber jacket over a light transparent dress while her beau donned an edgier jacket over a round-neck striped shirt and jeans.

The "October 17 [red heart emoji]" captioned post garnered almost three million likes and comments from well-wishers who gushed that their match was made in heaven. The musician also commented on his wife's post, writing, "I will love you forever, today and every day "[black heart emoji]."

To celebrate the occasion as well, Travis posted a throwback picture of both of them in a tiny closet of mirrors. The "D.A.S.H" co-owner, dressed in a vintage 1998 Dolce & Gabbana black mini dress with heels and a lace veil over her face, leaned towards the wall as her husband stood behind her, lacing up the mini dress. He captioned the post "October 17 [black heart emoji]," about the day he proposed.
