In a 2020 interview with People Magazine, Hathaway revealed a project she was involved in that she would do her best to keep away from her children. At the time, "The Witches" had just been released, and the actress was doing her media rounds to promote the film.

Hathaway played the Grand High Witch in the fantasy and was particularly cautious about children watching it because of her bone-chilling smile. "Everybody else's children can see it, but my kids can't see this movie until they're like 30 because every time I smile, they're just going to freak," she said.

While talking to Access Hollywood, Hathaway made a similar comment saying, "I will never show my children this film," she insisted. "If they discover it on their own, that is beyond me. I can't let them see this."

Hathaway attended the recently concluded New York Fashion week and chose a particularly interesting outfit to wear to the event. The actress had on a black turtleneck top under a brown leather jacket. She completed the familiar look with a skirt and hair styled up with a bang.

The look was startlingly reminiscent of an outfit Hathaway's character, Sachs, wore in "The Devil Wears Prada." It was no surprise that she received a slew of questions concerning whether the popular movie would be getting a sequel. However, Hathaway quickly nipped it in the bud.

While talking to Entertainment Tonight, Hathaway said, "There's not going to be a sequel. It's not gonna happen. It's just like, we can't do it. It's not gonna happen. It exists. There are other films. There will be other films. We can just watch that one [The Devil Wears Prada] again."
