Meghan Markle has broken her silence on Queen Elizabeth II’s passing.
Her Royal Highness passed away “peacefully” on September 8th at her beloved Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
Unfortunately, Prince Harry and Meghan were not able to make it to Balmoral Castle before the Queen’s death, but they did spend multiple days in the England to take part in the State Funeral of Her Majesty the Queen.

The Queen's family members processed the coffin three times.
It moved from Westminster Abbey, to more than a mile away to Wellington Arch and finally to Windsor Castle, where she was laid to rest following 70 years as sovereign.
In a new interview with Variety, Meghan opened up about her relationship with Queen Elizabeth.
Despite the drama the former royals caused with her move to Montecito, CA, the ‘Archetypes’ podcast host had nothing but praise for her former in-law.
Meghan said Queen Elizabeth was the “shining example” of female leadership.
Meghan Markle Praises The Queen For Female Leadership!
When asked about Her Majesty’s passing, the worldwide mourning and how it’s all affected her, Meghan admitted, “There’s been such an outpouring of love and support. I’m really grateful that I was able to be with my husband to support him, especially during that time.”
She doted on the beauty of the queen’s everlasting legacy.
“What’s so beautiful is to look at the legacy that his [Prince Harry] grandmother was able to leave on so many fronts. Certainly, in terms of female leadership, she is the most shining example of what that looks like,” the mother-of-two said. “I feel deep gratitude to have been able to spend time with her and get to know her. It’s been a complicated time, but my husband, ever the optimist, said, ‘Now she’s reunited with her husband.’”
While many outlets painted Meghan’s relationship with the queen as negative, toxic and horrid, she tells a different story.

“I’ve reflected on that first official engagement that I had with her, how special that felt,” Meghan admitted. “I feel fortunate. And I continue to be proud to have had a nice warmth with the matriarch of the family.”
Since Queen Elizabeth II’s passing, Meghan and Harry have been focusing on their multiple projects in the works. They inked massive deals with Netflix and Spotify.
They are also continuing their work with their Archewell foundation, which focuses heavily on philanthropy.
We can’t forget to mention that they’re “mom and dad” to Archie Harrison (3) and Lilibet Diana (1).
She explained her mission with her Spotify podcast “is looking at the nuances around the women who come on the show. I’m not a journalist, but I want a candid, real conversation with them. I’m talking to some really textured, colorful, layered, dynamic women with strong histories. And that comes with a lot of pieces you can choose to include or not; I choose to include something that I feel is fair to them and also uplifting. And something we can all learn from.”
