Leah Messer isn’t tripping over her breakup and neither should her fans.
The MTV reality star issued a statement on Twitter following her broken engagement from Jaylan Mobley.
Messer told her fans to take a chill pill on Monday, October 17th.

Fans showed support for Messer and also called her out for “selling” the stories about her and Jaylan
Twitter Is Divided By Leah's Clap Back
“Talk yo s**t Leah!! It ain’t nobody’s business. Carry on girl,” one fan wrote.
Others called Messer out for making money off of the stories outlets publish.
“But yall been selling these stories. No one was tripping,” one dismayed fan replied.
“You make a living off of people ‘tripping’ over your life thought, another added.
One shot back in defense of Messer writing, “But she still has a private life. She is not obligated to say what’s going on. There are some parts of her life she wants private and nothing wrong with that. Especially since u all like to bully these girls.”
A fan advised the mother-of-three not to date in the public eye.
“Maybe you shouldn’t date in the public eye so you don’t have to explain to the nosey people,” they commented on her tweet.
The former couple announced earlier this month that they would be going their separate ways two months after their engagement.
Leah & Jaylan Separate Two Months
Days after the reality TV star and her now-ex-fiancé announced their broken engagement, TMZ obtained photos of Jaylan moving out of her West Virginia house.
According to reports, Jaylan has moved about 45 minutes away from his Messer into an apartment.
She will remain in her home with her three underage daughters, 12-year-old twins Aliannah and Aleeah, and nine-year-old daughter Adalynn.
Sources close to the couple told TMZ, Jaylan took his things out of Messer’s home on Thursday, October 13.
Earlier this week, The Blast reported on the couple’s breakup.
On Tuesday, October 11, the reality star shared a black-and-white photo of the two holding hands while walking along a boardwalk as she announced that they had decided to walk separate roads.
The couple got engaged in August.
“While the last year has been tremendously exciting for both of us, we’ve realized that it’s best we walk separate paths,” the couple said in a joint statement. “We are so grateful for the lessons, growth, and memories we’ve had in this relationship. So many of you have watched our love story unfold, and we hope that you’ll continue to watch our stories while we move forward as friends.”
“We will forever have love and respect for each other, and we ask for privacy as we refocus and transition out of this chapter together,” they concluded, signing off the post, “Thank you, Leah and Jaylan.”
She has since deleted the post from social media.
Per reports, Leah has admitted she’s sad about the breakup, but will not budge on telling people what caused the pair to end their relationship and engagement.
Comments were disabled on Leah’s post, although many fans were no doubt disappointed to see the couple go their separate ways, especially since Mobley had given promise rings to all three of her daughters from previous relationships after their engagement.
