Heather Rae Young Recalls Going Official With Tarek El Moussa

Heather Rae Young is all about the anniversary mood! 

The real estate agent tied the knot with Tarek El Moussa almost a year ago, and they are currently expecting a baby boy soon. With her due date and their first wedding anniversary approaching, the 35-year-old reality star is reliving the experiences with her husband in the early stages of their relationship.

The soon-to-be mom posted a throwback picture of the duo and a current photo recreating the moment on her Instagram page as she recalled the period they went public with their relationship. 

In the first picture, the happy pair posed sitting on a couch; the visibly pregnant Heather looked radiant in an orange sleeveless dress that showed off her growing bump while her beau kissed her cheeks. Tarek wore a casual shirt and jeans in black.

The next slide was also on a couch, but she was not pregnant this time, and she did the kissing. Her hair fell down her shoulders, and she elegantly spotted another sleeveless wine-colored dress.

Heather held onto Tarek with her arms around his shoulders as she pecked him with a smile. Tarek, wearing an almost identical outfit to the first photo, held on to her legs with his arms as he smiled at the camera. The 35-year-old described the snaps, writing:

"Taking a little trip down memory lane… this photo was from today during our interview together but swipe ?? for one of the first photos we ever posted to share that we were 'official.'"

She noted that it would be their one-year wedding anniversary that week and remarked how she loved their life and spending moments with him. Fans will recall that a year ago in October, the pair tied the knot in an intimate and beautiful Montecito ceremony at the Rosewood Miramar Beach.

The Blast recently shared that the Anaheim native showed her followers just how much she was excited about the upcoming milestone. On her Instagram page, Heather shared a picture of herself wearing her wedding shoes.

She paired the magnificent-looking heels with a pink one-handed dress with many frills and a thigh-high split. Although the dress looked straight out of a fairy tale, it had some edge as it was backless and gave a hint of her side boob.    

"Wearing the exact heels I wore on the day of my wedding. Which is extra special because this month is our anniversary month," the "Flipping 101" star began the caption, adding, "Who would've thought a year later I'd be posing in my wedding heels holding my baby bump???"

In July, The Blast reported that while other Americans were celebrating the holiday with patriotism in mind, these lovebirds had a more special reason for their happiness. The investors revealed on their individual social media posts that they had met on that particular day three years ago.

In an emotional post, the 40-year-old donned a white t-shirt with red prints, a pair of black shorts, a baseball cap, and sunshades. His wife instead went with a brighter-colored theme with a pink long-sleeved shirt over black biker shorts. 

With dark shades on, she held on to the US Flag, while Tarek held on to her tightly as they smiled at the camera while waving the flag. "You know those moments in life that change everything? Three years ago today, I had one of those moments. I met @heatherraeyoung while I was boating- if you haven't heard the story, it's a good one," the heartwarming caption began.

The "Flip or Flop" co-host recalled that he knew instantly that he had met the person he wanted to live with for the rest of his life. He noted that the Fourth of July Holiday was initially a favorite because of the many activities like boating, summer, and BBQs. 

But now it was more special to him because of Heather; ending his love note, he wrote, "So happy first-day-I-met-you @heatherraeyoung and happy fourth of July to everyone else." 

After her husband's post, the blonde beauty took to her Instagram page to take a trip down memory lane with pictures of the lovebirds over the years. The photos featured the very in-love duo sharing kisses and hugs at different public and private places, including from their fairy tale wedding.
