Kylie Jenner has opened up on why she was absent from last year’s Paris Fashion Week.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star took to her official Instagram account and responded to a fan page where she gushed about catching flu-like symptoms just days before she was expected to attend the Balmain fashion show.

'[F]or those wondering i never had flu-like symptoms!' the Kylie Cosmetics mogul said, in response to her missing the Balmain's Spring 2020 show in September, which recently played out on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."

“I had a horrible strep and staph infection in the throat (bleeding from the mouth and all) it was the sickest I’ve ever been,' concluded the self-made billionaire.

Kylie gave her response to a post she came across by Instagram account @kyliesnapchat.

The popular page, which has over 1.1 million followers, informed fans with the descriptions of the first two episodes of the newest season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” which premiered on January 26.

And one of those episodes is believed to cover the mother-of-one’s illness, which ultimately left her canceling any work commitments at the last minute.

Needless to say, fans will get to see how bad things had gotten for Kylie, who, as mentioned in her Instagram comment, has never experienced flu-like symptoms before, in the next episode of "KUWTK."

When Kylie was booked to show up to the Balmain fashion show last year, it was a pretty big deal considering that she served as the Artistic Director of Makeup.

The young entrepreneur launched her Kylie Cosmetics brand in 2014, and in March 2019, Forbes had valued the company to be worth an incredible $900 million. And by November of that very same year, Kylie sold a 51% stake of her share to Coty, Inc for $600 million.

News of Kylie’s illness comes just days after sources claimed that the popular social media influencer was not getting back together with her ex-boyfriend Travis Scott.

It was initially said that Kylie and her on-off beau had given family and friends the impression they were getting back together judging by how much time they’d been spending together as of late, including their recent trip to Disneyland with daughter Stormi.

But it looks as if the pair is simply focused on co-parenting their baby girl for the time being.

“The couple has always had love and respect for one another but took a break last year because they both had so much going on,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.

“They couldn’t fully focus on what it took to make the relationship work. Kylie exploded in the makeup world and was busy making a billion-dollar business and Travis was on tour and working on music. Although things haven’t slowed down much for the duo, they’re better able to handle it. At the end of the day, the couple is happy to have their family back together.”

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians continues Thursdays on the E! network.
