Popstar Harry Styles was recently the recipient of a fan attack to his groin during his Chicago concert. While it’s expected that fans at a concert get excited while vibing to their favorite artist, some fans sometimes take it a step further. Over the past years, artists, Styles included, have often received unasked-for missiles thrown at them during a show.
The “Watermelon Sugar” star previously received several cold chicken nuggets on stage while performing in New York and seemed to find it an interesting choice of things to throw. He eventually tossed the item back to the crowd amid chants to eat it.
Styles’ more recent on-stage incident, however, involved a much larger object thrown at his groin. The artist seemed to be in pain after the incident and needed some moments to himself to “shake it off.”

A Fan Threw A Bottle At Harry Styles
During his recent Chicago show, a bottle was launched at Styles mid-performance, causing the artist to double over in pain. While in obvious pain, he seemed to shake it off and carry on with the performance. At the moment, the former One Direction star is conducting his world tour in the US for “Harry’s House,” his third solo album.
The incident occurred at the United Center while Styles was performing his hit song, “As It Was,” and saying some words to the thousands of fans in the venue. The artist reportedly talked about the Chicago weather when an over-enthusiastic fan threw the bottle at his groin area.
The moment was captured by several fans who had their phones out in the concert, so it is no surprise that the video started circulating soon after.

In the video of the incident, Styles was seen hunched over after receiving the impact and let out an astonished “Oh!” while grabbing his groin. The performer took a few moments to compose himself before straightening up and saying, “Well, that’s unfortunate.”
Styled took stock of himself to ensure that everything was in order and then gave his two legs a shake while saying, “Ok, Shake it off!” The artist jumped up and down the stage, trying to relieve himself of the pain before eventually proceeding with the show.
The tradition of throwing things at performing artists is one that fans seem unable to get enough of; hence, several objects have been launched at the performers over the years. This is far from the first time the “Sweet Creature” singer has received gifts on stage.
A ‘Cold’ Chicken Nugget Was Thrown At The Singer
In late August, Styles received yet another gift on stage; however, this was a much smaller missile and directed away from his groin. During a Saturday night show at Madison Square Garden, some chicken nuggets were tossed at the artist, an item he described as “very interesting” when he noticed.
Fox News reported that Styles picked up a piece of the tossed chicken nugget and said, “Very interesting, very interesting approach.” He then asked who threw the nugget before finding a second one by his feet. The excited crowd soon started chanting that the artist “eat it!” however, Styles wasn’t having it.
“I don’t eat chicken, sorry,” he said. “First of all, this is cold, and I’m assuming very old.” The artist threw the piece of chicken back to the crowd of fans and asked them not to eat it. “Don’t eat it,” Styles cautioned. “Now it’s on the floor. Don’t go looking for it; we’ll get you another nugget,” Styles said to the fan.
Harry Styles’ Band Recently Came Down With An Illness
Due to several of his crew and band coming down with an undisclosed illness, Styles previously moved one of his shows in Chicago. He was initially set to perform in Chicago for six nights during his “Love on Tour” show and then move to Inglewood, California, to start the next set of musical performances.
The concert venue announced per Fox News, “Out of an abundance of caution, tonight’s Harry Styles show on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at United Center has been rescheduled to Monday, October 10, 2022, due to band/crew illness.”
“All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. All additional show dates will play as scheduled. An email from Ticketmaster will be sent directly to ticket holders with more info,” they continued.
