In a recent interview with Page Six, Gorga reflected on his long-running drama involving his sister Giudice. The pair both star on Bravo's reality series "Real Housewives of New Jersey," which premiered in 2009.
Fans have also seen Gorga and Giudice have several on-and-off arguments, among other issues that have been well-documented throughout the show's multiple seasons.
"At this point, I just don't know what else to say. I'm tired. I'm tired of talking about this for 13 years," Gorga complained to the publication at BravoCon 2022. The reality star went on to say he was ready to move on with his life, away from the seemingly unending family issues with his sister.
"I'm 48 years old, and I'm happy that I woke up this morning and happy that I have healthy kids, a beautiful wife, a beautiful life, and I just want to be happy, man," he added. "This kind of drama is ruining my life."
Joe Gorga Did Not Attend Teresa Giudice's WeddingÂ
While shooting the Season 13 finale of the Bravo series, an argument broke out between Gorga and Giudice, which left both parties deeply hurt. Subsequently, Gorga and his wife, Melissa, were a no-show at Giudice's wedding to Luis "Louis" Ruelas despite being invited to the celebration.
Regarding their decision to not attend Giudice's nuptials, Melissa shared on her "On Display" podcast that the years of toxic relationship had strained the connection between her husband and his sister and some unresolved issues involving the groom, Ruelas.
"[There were] past altercations with Louie that we've never talked about and that we've decided to kind of push under the rug because we want Teresa to be happy," she said. She further hinted that they have decided to stop indulging Giudice's excesses and are "letting go."
Joe Gorga Wants His Sister To Seek For Reconciliation
While the relationship between Gorga and Giudice has debilitated deeply, Gorga has not thrown off the possibility of reconciliation. In his interview with Page Six, he shared that he was waiting for his sister to make the first move in starting the reconciliation process. to take action to repair their relationship.
He said, "The steps are not my steps. I've always walked that straight line trying to keep the peace with my sister, and I will brag, and I will say it, and I'm out there. I have no steps to take," he told us.
Gorga added, "I've done everything right. She needs to take a thousand good steps, a thousand right steps. And that's going to take a while for her. She better get on that treadmill and start getting those steps right."
He Still Talks With His Nieces
In the meantime, the pair's feud is still ongoing, and the possibility of a resolution happening anytime soon seems low. However, despite Gorga's issues with his sister, he has tried to keep the drama from involving Giudice's four daughters, Gia, 21, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 13, whom she shares with ex-husband Joe.
"We text. And listen, my nieces are my nieces. I love them, and there is no animosity toward them," he revealed per Page Six. "If they choose to let me in their life, I'm there. I've watched them all from babies, and I love them. There's no hard feelings with my nieces."
Meanwhile, Gorga share daughter Antonia, 17, and sons Gino, 15, and Joey, 12, with his wife, Melisa.
The upcoming "Real Housewives of New Jersey" season will premiere in 2023.
