Who Has Britney Spears Dated?

Britney Spears, 38, has been in the public eye for most of her life...and so have all her relationships.

The pop singer has dated actors, as well as several dancers. She’s been engaged three times and married twice.

Right now, Spears is in a long-term relationship with personal trainer Sam Asghari, who just turned 26. And while the "Circus" singer seems happy with her current beau, let’s take a look back at the men she’s dated over the years.

From Colin Farell to Justin Timberlake, here are Britney’s ex-boyfriends:

Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears struck up a romance in 1999 after they met on the set of The Mickey Mouse Club. However, they didn’t make their relationship public until 2000.

The two broke up in 2002 around the time Justin released the song “Cry Me A River.” The song is rumored to be about his relationship with Britney.

In his 2018 autobiography, Justin wrote, “I’ve been scorned. I’ve been pissed off. The feelings I had were so strong I had to write it. I translated my feelings into a form where people could listen and hopefully relate to it. People heard me and they understood it because we’ve all been there.”

After her split with Justin, Spears briefly dated her choreographer Wade Robson. There were reports the two were together while she was still in a relationship with Justin.

In 2003, Spears and actor Colin Farrell had a short-term relationship. At the time, Farrell, who was 26, was known as quite the player. Which might explain why Colin never admitted to dating the 21-year-old.

“We’re just mates and we’re not dating,” he said at the time. But according to Farrell, he wasn’t a playboy. “I’m just a 26-year-old guy who’s single and having a good time,” he admitted.

A year after her romance with Colin, Spears married her high school boyfriend, Jason Alexander in Las Vegas. The relationship was annulled less than 60 hours after the ceremony.

Less than a year after she split with Alexander she started dating another dancer, Kevin Federline.

The two got married in 2004 and had two children together; Jayden James and Sean Preston. However, things took a turn and they broke up in 2006. Their divorce was finalized a year later.

After Kevin, Britney dated photographer Adnan Ghalib in 2007. This was during the singer's very public meltdown. Sadly, their relationship didn’t last.

A couple of years later, Spears went public with Jaston Trawick. They got engaged in 2011 but broke up in 2013. She also dated tv producer Charlie Ebersol in 2014 for eight months.

Spears started dating Sam Asghari in 2016. Sam, 26, is a personal trainer/model. He and Britney have been together for about four years and seem to have a strong relationship.

The pair, who have a 13-year age gap, constantly share cute photos on Instagram. And according to Sam, marriage might be an option for the couple.
