New year, new bae, and apparently a new lease on life, Ariana Grande is through with allowing her romantic endeavors to be tabloid fodder. After years of finding herself in high profile relationship after relationship, Grande wants to do things a bit differently.

She is keeping her new relationship with real estate beau Dalton Gomez under wraps and it's because she wants the world to mind the business that pays them. For her, that's completely separate from her love life.

The recent end of her short-lived romance with Social House rapper Mikey Foster becoming news might have acted as a reminder to the pop diva of just how much she didn't care for the public's prying eyes in her dating life. Grande is allegedly so smitten with Gomez that she wants to keep the reality of their bliss just between them, too.

According to sources the "Breathing" singer and the LA-based real estate agent have been quietly dating for at least two months.

It's even been speculated that Gomez is the unknown man Grande was spotted making out with at a bar this past February. The two will have plenty of time for that because he's allegedly also quarantining with her.

"Ariana is staying at home with friends. She is very serious about self distancing and has been with the same group of people for days," an insider revealed to People about the new couple. "One of the people she is with right now is Dalton — they have been hanging out for a couple of months."

Due to her newfound relationship, Grande is flying high on cloud 9 and wants things to stay that way. So, unlike past romances where she's put her relationships on front street, she's keeping Gomez close. The singer has had a lot of her personal and private life aired on display over the years.

The source added, "Ariana doesn’t want to do another public relationship so she is trying to keep this one quiet, but she seems very happy with Dalton."

Another reason she might be doing so is because, unlike the romances of her past, Gomez isn't in the limelight. It makes sense to keep things that way. In the past, Grande has been in high-profile relationships with Mac Miller, Pete Davidson, and Big Sean.

Grande was in a relationship with frequent collaborator "Single Again" rapper Big Sean for less than a year before dating long-time friend and "The Way" collaborator Mac Miller. Their romance started in 2016 before coming to an end in 2018.

Initially, it was said to be due to their busy schedules, but some speculated after Mac Miller's untimely death that substance abuse might have played a role in the ending of their relationship. Days after her and Mac Miller's breakup became public, it was revealed that Grande and comedian/actor Pete Davidson were romantically involved. Within a month, they had gotten engaged.

Davidson and Grande split a short time after, following Mac Miller's passing. Grande then vowed to focus on herself and her music. But who knows? Maybe Gomez will prove to be the relationship worth waiting for.
