Madison Beer Says Meeting Justin Bieber Was 'Serendipitous'

Madison Beer is super thankful for Justin Bieber.

The singer is reflecting on her big break in 2012 when the “Yummy” singer signed her.

Much like his personal discovery story, JB noticed Beer’s videos on YouTube and made the move to make her a part of his record label.

You’ll recall that Usher signed Bieber after coming across his YouTube videos.

In an interview with Metro UK, the songstress reflected on that moment in time.

“He’s amazing and it is quite sweet and serendipitous that he was able to sign someone the same way that he was signed, it’s really cool,” she told the outlet.

Back in 2017, Bieber was “girl hopping” and it was long rumored that he and Beer had something more than friendly going on.

However, that was absolutely not the case according to Beer herself.

“Oh my god, no never. I just almost died [thinking about it]. No, not ever, ever, ever, ever, ever,” she said on “The Zach Sang Show” in 2017. “Like I’m signed with Justin, there’s not much more famous than him, like if I was going [to date someone just for publicity] it would’ve happened if that was the case. First of all, he’s like big brother [so] never, but I would never in a million years use anyone and people think that goes on a lot in Hollywood.”

Those thoughts remain the same today

Bieber has been married to Hailey Baldwin Bieber since 2018 and the couple is going strong.

“He’s super focused on his own life obviously now and we obviously don’t speak as much but he’s been incredible every step of the way and I’m really grateful that I had someone who also is so experienced and knowledgeable in the industry,” Beer gushed about her mentor. “He signed me so early that I still have all the tools that I still find useful to this day.”

Bieber’s wife recently appeared on Alex Cooper’s podcast, “Call Her Daddy” and opened up about her husband and his relationships before settling down.

As most everyone knows, Bieber dated Selena Gomez on-and-off over the course of eight years.

They were America’s sweethearts.

Hailey entered the picture throughout the roller-coaster relationship, but is adamant that she never dated her now-husband while he was with ANY woman.

“The timing was very rapid and very fast… that seemed really drastic and really crazy,” she explained of their personal relationship. “There was a lot happening.”

Cooper asked, “Your husband was in a very public relationship, they were kids. People were obsessed with the idea of them. People were confused on the timeline you’re talking about. ‘Is she a homewrecker?’ Were you ever with Justin romantically at the same time as her (Selena).

“It’s not my character to mess with someone’s relationship. I would just never do that. I was raised better than that,” she said. “I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody. That’s the end of it.”

Hailey and JB got together when she was 18-years-old and he was 22-years-old.

The “Purpose” singer was involved with SelGo, Hailey, Sofia Richie and others throughout his “bad boy” phase.

The couple got engaged in 2018 following Selena and Justin’s last ditch effort to try and make a relationship work in 2017.

Hailey explained a lot of the online hate and backlash comes from diehard fans thinking she “stole” Justin from Selena.

“It was the right thing for them to close that door. They were not in a relationship at that time. It closed a chapter and I think it was the best thing for him TO move on and be engaged and get married and move on with his life in that way,” the Rhode Beauty creator explained.

Hailey admitted she and the Rare Beauty founder have spoken since all the drama unfolded.

“It’s all respect. It’s all love,” she said while adding there is “no drama personally” between her and Selena.
