Responding to a fan who wished her luck and hoped she was not canceled following the scandal, the 42-year-old star declared on Twitter, "Only one cancel me is God!" The follower, who goes by @Bnathan34, was unaware of all the facts relating to the situation, but he hoped his icon would neither be judged nor canceled.

The follower's message comes in response to Haddish expressing gratitude to God for "redecorating" her life even though she was initially uncomfortable with the touch-ups. In her words:

The "Girls Trip" actress's appreciation of God is no doubt warranted given that the alleged child molestation suit filed against her and Spears was supposedly dropped late last month.

According to the documents obtained, which The Blast reported, the accuser, a Jane Doe, dismissed the case with prejudice, meaning she couldn't turn around and refile a lawsuit against the accused.

The female involved released a statement after the dismissal indicating that she and her family had known Haddish for "many years" and were now aware that she never posed a threat to them.

They also maintained that the Emmy winner would never "help anyone to do anything that could harm us" before wishing her the best and expressing gladness that they could put it all behind them.

Fans would recall that Jane Doe accused Haddish and Spears of "grooming" and "molesting" her and her brother while on the set for a skit filmed years ago. She claimed that she never realized the indecency of the skits at the time while also noting that the scenes were meant to sexualize the youngsters.

Jane Doe specifically mentioned Haddish as the one who made her film scenes that replicated oral sex as food. She further alleged that her brother's abuse was like hers, featuring him in a pedophile-themed skit.

"The Afterparty" Star's Career Took A Tumble After Child Abuse Lawsuit Dismissal

Following the lawsuit dismissal, things still did not look so good for Haddish as the child abuse accusations, unfortunately, tainted her rising career in the entertainment industry.

The Blast reported that she revealed so in an interview with TMZ, saying, "I lost everything. All my gigs gone. Everything gone." While she felt relieved about the lawsuit being dropped, she also expressed "concern" for the accusers, who were 14 and 17 when the supposed abuse occurred.

In the previously filed lawsuit, the accusations against "The Last Black Unicorn" author and Spears included sexual battery, sexual harassment, gross negligence, sexual abuse of a minor, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Haddish was also accused of being neglectful with supervision and breach of fiduciary duty, meaning that she never acted in the teens' best interest when they were in her care.
