She explained, "It feels like we’re regressing, depressingly so. There are just too many enablers for there to be real change. People have to be held accountable. There have to be legitimate consequences. Hollywood is very bad about consequences."

The Golden Globe nominee explained that, as a result, she has had to control her environment in Hollywood and hold those in her bubble accountable. When the interviewer asked her what needed to be done to make things better, Rae touched on the subject of Miller’s recent string of scandals.

In her words, "It starts with a backbone. While I don’t support people jumping to immediate conclusions and I think it’s entirely fair for investigations to happen, I think it’s extremely important to, like the mantra says, 'Listen to women.'"

The 37-year-old shared that she believes the backing Miller has received despite his atrocities is a "microcosm of Hollywood." Expatiating on the matter, Rae said, "There’s this person who’s a repeat offender, who’s been behaving atrociously, and as opposed to shutting them down and shutting the production down, there’s an effort to save the movie and them."

She continued, "That is a clear example of the lengths that Hollywood will go to to save itself and to protect offenders. So, don’t do that, and women may be able to thrive. They won’t have to live in fear of keeping silent because it’ll ruin their careers. It’s just a constant pattern of abuse that’ll only persist if Hollywood continues to insist on being this way."

Rae’s concern about the matter isn’t unfounded given recent reports that Miller has been in talks with Warner Bros. Studios execs about their recent legal troubles to quell worries about "The Flash" movie where they star as the lead.

Per reports, Miller was joined by their agent Scott Metzger for the meeting with Warner Bros. film chairs Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy to have discussions about how the actor can stay on course until the film’s release in June 2023. Sources also claimed the "Fantastic Beasts" star apologized for their erratic behaviors and promised not to bring any more negative attention to the production.

Before the meeting, Miller, for the first time since making headlines, addressed their atrocities and offered an apology for their actions. As The Blast reported, a rep for the 30-year-old shared a statement that read, "Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment. I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe, and productive stage in my life."

Miller has been plagued with scandal after scandal since late last years, with their most recent legal trouble being charged for burglary in Vermont after breaking into an empty home to steal bottles of alcohol.

In several viral videos, the Barry Allen actor has been seen harassing people in public spaces in Hawaii, resulting in him being charged and asked to pay meager fines.
