Victoria Beckham Finally Speaks Out About Her Disappearing 'DB' Tattoo

Victoria Beckham has finally put the kibosh on any and all rumors revolving around her disappearing “DB” tattoo.

“DB” are her husband David Beckham’s initials. She’s had the tattoo for over a decade and recently fans noticed it was slowly fading away.

This sparked major concern among her fanbase. Many were wondering if this meant there was trouble in their marriage and/or if it could be a sign a divorce was on the horizon.

Last month, the former Spice Girls singer shared a video where she’s swatching lip stick on her forearm and fans were STUNNED to see her cursive ‘DB’ tattoo nearly gone.

Victoria appeared on the “TODAY” show Thursday, October 13, and addressed all the hoopla.

“I had these tattoos a long long time ago and they just weren’t particularly delicate,” she said before noting her sons and husband have “beautiful” tats.

In fact, VB began removing the tattoo years ago.

“Mine were just a little bit thick and they were bleeding a little bit and they just weren’t as pretty. They just didn’t look so nice. It doesn’t mean anything more than that,” she explained. “The media started to speculate, was I leaving my husband? No. I was just a bit sick of the tattoo. It’s as simple as that.”

Prior to her interview, reports stated VB was going through a tattoo cleanse. The DB tatoo wasn’t the only tattoo that she’s getting rid of.

Sick of the tattoo, but not sick of her husband that’s for sure. The couple have been in New York City the past few days putting on a fashion show wherever they go.

On Monday, the couple was spotted with a group of friends outside the Langham Hotel late at night.

The following night they opted for a VB/DB date night.

Their date nights come after squashing beef with their son Brooklyn Beckham and his new wife, Nicola Peltz.

The drama all started when Nicola and Brooklyn were getting married and VB was reportedly set to design her future daughter-in-law’s dress.

Peltz revealed to Grazia USA that Brooklyn’s mom ghosted her for days after offering to design a dress for her big day.

She explained that she’d been excited to wear Beckham’s dress and was hurt after finding out it was no longer possible.

During the interview, Brooklyn said he supported his wife through the dress drama and said they always have each other’s back. Peltz clarified that she loves being part of the Beckhams and also said the reports claiming she lied about wanting to wear Victoria’s dress were a “bummer.”

In a joint interview with Grazia USA, Peltz noted that she was eager to rock the English fashion designer’s dress for her wedding. She explained that she was extremely excited that she would be wearing a dress made by her mother-in-law.

After trying to reach her for a while, Peltz revealed that Victoria finally got back to her with the sad news that she wouldn’t be making her wedding dress anymore. She said she was “truly excited to be able to wear a design that my future mother-in-law created.”

Peltz also revealed that it meant a lot to her and said, “I thought that was so beautiful and such a beautiful story.” She explained that Victoria’s cancellation of their dress plans scattered her plans for the wedding and forced her to go for a second option.

Following the drama, VB extended an olive branch to her son and DIL.

Earlier this month, the Spice Girls alum took to Instagram with a picture of the couple and wrote, “I love you all so much.”

Nicola shared VB’s post, which basically is a sign that everything is A-OK in the family now.
