Denma’s comments are blowing up with hate and questions about West, the commercialism of the bag, and the overall tone-deafness of the situation.

“Are you gonna say something about Kanye West and Demnas relationship, or the outrageous things Kanye West says about people working at Balenciaga. Or maybe about his anti semetic views? Or is this too real for the page?” Asked a follower.

“Leather never looked do cheap (and this is not a critic),” one follower slammed the bag. “Leave these stunts to moschino. You are losing audience,” shared another annoyed fashion lover.

The brand is racking up a steady amount of hate for this one. That being said, there are still many fans of the brand and they are anticipating the drop. Some are even putting in requests of their own, “Please make one out of pickle chips 🙏🏼,” begged a follower. Another pleaded for a “giveaway”.

The brand is letting the drama slide off its billion-dollar back. They are used to pressing the norm and the Lay’s x Balenciaga collaboration is only the latest in a set of what some deem ridiculous collaborations.

The Spanish fashion house sold a trash bag for $1,790. They also sold already damaged shoes, the Croc pump, a t-shirt with another t-shirt attached to it aptly called “t-shirt shirt” and that $1,700 blue Ikea bag.
