Mullets usually mean business up front and a party in the back but Blake Shelton's is also a party on the sides thanks to his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani.

The "God's Country" singer announced he was growing the classic hairstyle while on quarantine earlier this month but happily shared an update with his Twitter followers on Thursday. Blake's mullet has a lot of growing to do but it was long enough for Gwen to run her fingers through his greasy hair. He also credited Stefani for adding her signature touch.

"Quarantine mullet update 3/26/2020... @gwenstefani has decided to take it to the next level.. Stripes," Blake tweeted alongside the short video.

Shelton is not letting his sweet hairstyle go to waste, in fact, he tweeted out a picture of his GF and him posing as he sported his new 'do just before sharing his ~~creepy~~ mullet video.

"Our first quarantine photo shoot... should’ve been the Nobody But You cover... Damn it!" he joked referring to his hit song.

His "Voice" co-star, John Legend replied to his tweet and asked him, "Where's the mullet tho." That's when Blake hit everyone with his video to prove that his hair is making progress.

Blake decided to grow his hair out after all of his scheduled shows and work were canceled due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 concerns but he made it very clear that his girlfriend's idea... partly her idea.

“I have an announcement. With basically EVERYTHING I had scheduled being canceled for the foreseeable further [sic] @gwenstefani and I have made a decision together. I am growing my mullet back as a symbol of hope or some s— like that.. Anyway it’s coming back! For real. Stay tuned…” he tweeted on March 17.

Gwen and Blake are proud to be participating in the Academy of Country Music's show airing on CBS on April 5. The concert is designed to spread music during this tough time and will not feature a live studio audience. "No stadium. No stage. Just you, the artists and the music," the ACM said to describe the event. Shelton shared a poster for his performance on Instagram to inform his fans.

"So cool what the ACMs are doing & honored to be part of it. Can’t wait to share our special performance with y’all during @acmawards Presents: Our Country — Sunday, April 5 at 8/7c on CBS. @gwenstefani #ACMOurCountry," he wrote.
