Emily Ratajkowski Breaks Silence On Her Relationship Status Following Brad Pitt Dating Rumors

Supermodel Emily Ratajkowski has clarified speculations about her dating life.

The mother of one shared in a recent interview that she has not entered into a new relationship since her split from her former partner Sebastian Bear-McClard. The model also discussed her breakup with the "Uncut Gems" star, explaining the changes she has experienced as a single mother.

Ratajkowski was recently linked with actor Brad Pitt who is currently embroiled in a major lawsuit with his ex-wife, actress Angelina Jolie over their children and assets. In the meantime, Ratajkowski has yet to confirm or deny rumors of her connection with the actor.

In an interview with Variety, Ratajkowski discussed her dating life and how she felt about being single. She disclosed that her single status had freed her from being subject to public scrutiny.

"I'm newly single for basically the first time in my life ever, and I just feel like I'm kind of enjoying the freedom of not being super worried about how I'm being perceived," the model told the publication in the interview, which was published on Wednesday.

Ratajkowski then talked about learning to let go, seemingly referring to her split from her estranged partner and father of her child, Sebastian Bear-McClard. The pair share a son Sylvester Apollo Bear whom they are co-parenting following their breakup.

The 31-year-old DNA model added, "One of the things I write about in the last essay of the book [My Body] is about control and kind of understanding that one of the best ways to actually be happy and have some semblance of control is letting go."

Despite being recently single, the mother of one has been linked with "Bullet Train" star, Pitt. Per Page Six, several sources have speculated that the pair have been spending time together amid the actor's ongoing legal battle with his ex-wife Jolie.

"Brad has quietly dated the last couple of years. He worries that [Angelina] Jolie will badmouth him to their kids, more than she already has, if he has a serious girlfriend," a source told the publication a month ago.

Pitt and Jolie have been embroiled in a $250 million lawsuit over their French winery amid speculations of domestic abuse during their union. The pair, who split in 2016, is also involved in a custody battle other their teen children Zahara, 17, Shiloh, 16, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 14. Pitt and Jolie also share two other Maddox, 21, and Pax, 18.

In the meantime, Ratajkowski has yet to confirm or deny rumors of her involvement with Pitt. However, she commented about the recent news of Adam Levine cheating on his wife with an Instagram model, seemingly drawing parallels to her own previous relationship, which was ladened with infidelity rumors.

"I'm very familiar with those kinds of power dynamics between men and women," she said, per Variety, "and I saw another moment where we were choosing to attack a young woman instead of the powerful man, which I didn't love."

She added, "It wasn't honestly about Adam Levine. I just responded to this woman talking about how women need to change and adjust as preparation for men's behavior, which is something I've been talking and writing about for a long time. Like, this 'Boys will be boys' attitude that women have? We have to do better."

Since she broke up with producer Sebastian Bear-McClard, Ratajkowski has grown to love TikTok as a social media tool. Per the publication, the Inamorata founder considers Twitter a "weird" platform and views Instagram as a necessary tool to promote her brand.

However, on TikTok, she is allowed to be herself and have fun without any form of limitation, whether she uploads videos of herself dancing with her kid or clips she's taken at events.

She told Variety, "I enjoy vulnerability and radical honesty, so TikTok is a perfect medium for that."

Ratajkowski added, "All you have to strive for is to be as honest and as upfront as you can and make it feel like people are just in your iPhone camera roll."
