'Vanderpump Rules' Cast Laughs About Katie Maloney's 'Accurate' Description Of Kristen Doute's T-Shirt Line

Katie Maloney took aim at Kristen Doute's T-shirt line, James Mae, on Tuesday night's episode of Vanderpump Rules by suggesting that her designs weren't that creative.

"I could go on Pinterest and like, take my friends quotes and slap them on a T-shirt and make some money too, like, come on. That's not being busy," Katie said during the episode.

Then, later that night, during an episode of Vanderpump Rules: After Show, Maloney was seen reflecting on the comment with co-stars Stassi Schroeder and Lala Kent.

"It's technically accurate. They are T-shirts with quotes on them. So it's accurate," Schroeder, who is currently estranged from Doute, explained to her producers.

That said, Schroeder also noted that when it came to running a company, there was a lot more work involved than Maloney suggested in her statement.

Meanwhile, Kent noted that Maloney would have never taken aim at Doute in the way that she did if Doute hadn't come at her for supposedly being lazy about the work involved with their wine line, Witches of WeHo.

"Katie only gets that way when she feels like she's been done dirty," Kent stated.

While Maloney is no fan of Doute at the moment, she admitted on the After Show that when it came to Doute's T-shirt line, she's seen her former best friend working hard on the line in the past.

"Is James Mae a Pinterest T-shirt line? Absolutely not," Maloney confessed. "I've seen Kristen work on it. She does a lot more work than that. But if you're going to sit there and say that I have nothing going on in my life..."

As she looked back on the statements Maloney made on Vanderpump Rules about her T-shirt line while seated next to Brittany Cartwright in her own After Show segment, Doute slammed her co-star for being "really sh*tty" towards her on Tuesday's show before noting that Maloney was previously one of the "most supportive" people in her life.

"For Katie to take that stab for no f**king reason than to trash me, I didn't really get it," Doute said of her co-star's behavior.

Doute went on to say that there was no real reason Maloney should have been mad at her, even though she suggested she wasn't being a team player when it came to their wine line.

"It was a dumb, hurtful, meaningless thing to say. She has no reason to be angry with me because I didn't do anything to her," Doute stated.
