Drake's Baby Mama Praised Him For Doing 'Great Job' On Son Adonis' 5th Birthday

Drake's mini-me is one year older! The ecstatic dad celebrated his son's fifth birthday in an extravagant superhero-themed birthday party.

The mother of his handsome lookalike son, Sophie Brussaux, also shared several adorable pictures on Instagram celebrating her child.

Although the rapper and former model kept the arrival of their son, Adonis, a secret for a while, Drake eventually revealed that he became a father in his album "Scorpion" in 2018. 

The proud dad appears to have been anticipating the golden moment, seeing as he went all out for his son, Adonis, on his fifth birthday.  Sharing several colorful pictures on Instagram with his massive 122 million followers, the thrilled singer certainly outdid himself.

The superhero-themed inspired birthday was organized at a large arcade space. The first slide showed the celebrant in a camouflage shirt and baggy sweatpants paired with black sneakers. Adonis had his hair tied back in tight cornrows as he played a racing game, looking extremely pleased. 

In another frame, the delighted birthday boy was seen shooting hoops in a superman cape as he leaped high in the air to score a three-point shot.  The following slide displayed the father and son duo sharing a bonding moment as Adonis looked up to the "God's Plan" rapper to give him advice on how to navigate yet another racing game. 

A group of adults assumed to be Drake's friends also attended the party. Featuring on the rapper's Instagram, the group took a picture together while dressed in colorful hoodies. The highlight of the slideshow was when the neighborhood-friendly "Spiderman" honored Adonis with his presence. 

The superhero further signed his autograph on a piece of paper for the special celebrant. Drake also posted a picture of Brussaux and her son embracing each other while he made Spiderman's signature hand gesture at the camera. 

In the last picture, Drake appeared to have been basking in the surreal moment as he captured the event with his trusty camcorder. Captioning the lovely pictures, he wrote,  "Happy 5th to my twin ???."

Brussaux, on the other hand, also posted sweet pictures on Instagram in commemoration of her son's birthday. It included photos from Adonis' birthday party and some taken during the year. The first slide showed the 33-year-old artist and her son in the car on their way to his birthday party. The gorgeous mum wore a black tank top while her son donned a furry brown and off-white hoodie.

The next slide displayed Adonis joyfully assisting a magician to carry out his tricks in front of the rest of the kids in attendance at his party. She went on to share other photos of her and her kid spending quality time as a pair.  The happy boy could be seen cuddling up with a grey and white puppy, while the following slide showed pleasant Adonis enjoying an ice cream sandwich.

The doting mom further posted a selfie of the duo lying together in bed while Adonis got dressed in a Spiderman costume and affectionately stared at his mum's face.

Captioning the post, she began by writing in French, " Joyeux anniversaire mon amoureux...5 ans déjà". Before adding, "I'm so proud of the beautiful human, you are growing up to be. We've done a great job @champagnepapi," referring to Drake for the awesome job they are doing. 

Adonis' big birthday comes months after the five-year-old showed off his excellent basketball skills. Per The Blast, the " Toosie Slide" crooner and his mini-me made headlines when the proud dad posted on Instagram the charming moment Adonis mimicked the iconic LeBron James.

The video shared on Instagram showed the little kid on the basketball court working the ball while his dad filmed the action from the sidelines. Adonis effortlessly bounced the ball like a pro as he displayed his prowess before making a clean shoot into the basket. His gesture after realizing his success was the icing on the cake.

He proudly mimicked Lebron James' behavior by pulling his jersey and slamming his chest while he celebrated his win. Drake, who seemed to have loved his little boy's show, captioned the post, "where is he getting the mannerisms from @kingjames [tear laugh emoji]."
