Gisele Bündchen Disapproves Of 'Inconsistent' Partners Amid Tom Brady Split

Gisele Bündchen is seemingly hinting at the reason for the troubles plaguing her marriage to Tom Brady. As you might know, the couple of 13 years are at loggerheads and heading toward a divorce soon.

While neither Bündchen nor Brady has publicly addressed their split, the model is subtly sharing what might have gone wrong.

Bündchen somewhat broke her silence about her issues with Brady by liking a post about romantic partners who are "inconsistent." The post was shared on Instagram by life coach and author Jay Shetty, who shared a quote about romantic relationships from his upcoming book, "8 RULES OF LOVE."

"You can’t be in a committed relationship with someone who is inconsistent with you. Read that again," the quote read. The "Devil Wears Prada" actress liked the post and posted a praying hand emoji in the comments section.

Many have interpreted Bündchen’s stamp of approval as a way of her coming out with the truth of what went wrong between her and Brady.

Since news of their broken-down relationship first surfaced in early September, the supermodel has limited her use of social media, with her last post dating back to August 22. Before then, Bündchen regularly posted on social media.

When news of Brady and Bündchen not seeing eye-to-eye in their marriage first surfaced, sources shared that the reason for their disagreement was rooted in Brady’s decision to have a retirement u-turn after his February announcement.

At the time, an insider revealed, "Tom and Gisele are in a fight right now. There’s been trouble in the marriage over his decision to un-retire. Gisele has always been the one with the kids. They had agreed he would retire to focus on the family, then he changed his mind."

However, the "Taxi" star has tried to deny such rumors from time to time. Such was the case when she sat down with ELLE Magazine for their September issue and slammed the narrative as "sexist." In her words, "I think this is the system we’ve been living in. That’s what society has accepted and what society hasn’t accepted."

Nevertheless, she expressed her concern about Brady remaining in the sport even in his mid-40s. She told the publication, "Obviously, I have my concerns—this is a very violent sport, and I have my children, and I would like him to be more present. I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too."

An anonymous source close to the couple has confirmed Bündchen's claim, saying that the NFL return isn’t the reason for their estrangement. "The problems are not due to his decision to play football again — sometimes things are complicated."

However, other insiders insist the star athlete’s return to the NFL caused the rift between the estranged couple.

According to a source, "She doesn’t hate that he’s playing football, but she sure hates the way he handled the retirement and coming back. He knows that, and he’s doing what he can do to smooth things over. He does know that this is his last season if he wants to stay married. He can’t do this again. So now all he can do is make this season count, spend time with his family whenever he can, and then retire at the end of the season."

Bündchen’s subtle comment comes weeks after it was reported that she and Brady have hired divorce lawyers. A source confirmed the recent update, saying, "They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be."

Following the news of a looming divorce, the 42-year-old has been seen without her wedding ring on multiple occasions. Just last week, The Blast reported that the model was seen participating in a sage cleansing ritual.

Bündchen employed the services of a female spiritual healer who cleansed her SUV and held prayers in her office in Miami.
